Kirill Posted January 28, 2014 Author Report Posted January 28, 2014 Well the story is; I got a job working away 4 weeks at a time, I had two cars. A 1995 honda civic, and Project Rust Bucket. So my friend just came back from living in Indonesia for 3 years and was looking for cheap car. I thought well i don't need 2 cars so I sold him the Rust Bucket. Then when I was away I thought how stupid that was. So I got back and we swaped my honda civic for rust bucket. The civic by the way was mechanically perfect and had air con and all luxuries! Haha everyone thought I was mad swapping and good civic for the rust heap. But here I am, and here she is. Lost that job now too :( Quote

Kirill Posted February 18, 2014 Author Report Posted February 18, 2014 Guys whats the way to remove the motor? Is it easier to separate the box and then lift motor out or wiggle to motor out and support the gearbox with a jack or remove motor and gearbox at the same time. Quote
Kirill Posted March 1, 2014 Author Report Posted March 1, 2014 Last few days I managed to take out the motor, replaced piston rings and gave the bores a hone. replaced con rod caps.
