rear window is out and found lost of rust. ened up getting another tailgate with no rust! but had few dents

Got hold of a tailgate with no rust!, but has a big dent in it. Still sanding and bogging :/

Dent looks to be fixable in the pic, very hard finding a tail gate with no rust, keep up the good work,

Thanks!, yesterday I cut tge the rust out to see how bad it was.. looks bad but nothing major

It wouldn't take much to fold a sheet of metal and tack it in, remember not to do a full weld, as it will generate too much heat and distort your roof, keep the updates coming!

So we had a welder around to check it out and said it was to hard to do for him :/

some people have told me to scrap it because the rust is structual, what should i do??
