hey rolla group, just wondering if any one had ever changed a ke55 steering box to a rack n pinon set up out of a ke70 or any thing else about the same size ,and how easy or hard was it, and did you leave the same steering colum,

I have just done that swap in my 30.

I used the complete rack and mounts off a 70 crossmember also i have used the complete 70 column.

I can not comment on how it drives yet because the car is still in bits.

But it looks like it will work.

Can i ask why you want to change to rack?
