Jeralyn Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Sorry if this has been posted before but my brake booster has just carked it. Will any other brake boosters easily bolt straight in or do I need to stick to KE55? Reconditioning looks to cost around $270 (Lismore area).. Ouch. Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Thats what it costs its actually a good deal IMO. Maybe ke30 but there were a couple different boosters used accross those models. Quote
Mechanical Sympathy Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Booster or master cylinder? If it's the booster just scrounge the wreckers/for sale threads/ebay/gumtree for a 2nd hand one. If it's the master cylinder that sounds expensive. From experience BHSS at Bowen Hills Brisbane do them exchange for around half that and there's an ebay listing for a new one $100. Quote
Jeralyn Posted July 24, 2014 Author Report Posted July 24, 2014 Thanks, it's just the booster so shall try and find a 2nd hand one and hope it's not a lemon. Quote
ke35 dan Posted July 26, 2014 Report Posted July 26, 2014 I've got a pbr booster and master on my ke55 donar car I'm willing to part with. the car stoped awesome when I drove it home, I wanted to put it in my ke35 but it was to big with the 4age inlet manifold. $100 for both Quote
Jeralyn Posted July 28, 2014 Author Report Posted July 28, 2014 Thanks for the offer Dan but already decided to just get it reconditioned. Quote
Jeralyn Posted August 2, 2014 Author Report Posted August 2, 2014 Hey Dan, Do you still have that pbr brake booster/master cylinder for sale? Mine looks to be rusted on and will have to be broken to get off.. Jeralyn Quote
