Japtastic: I have no idea, I would be assuming it went into his TA22 Celica. What are they doing with that 4AG? I can see a very very big turbo, and a very very big wastegate... And a surge tank, can't really make out anything else...

Its a 4TGTE, 2.1 version of the 3TGTE. Umm that was obviously being tested on engine dyno, unsure which version it is, as they used it in the Lemans, and IMSA cars as well as the TA63 Celica's for GroupB rallying.

Given the crazy amount of piping going everywhere, I'd say its IMSA which means that it'd be pumping somewhere around 600hp. Ahh the mid 80's...when most racing classes were going crazy with their turbo motors.

an 18RG with a 16 valve head. Only ever made for race use, referred to as a 151E motor.
