My 4age redtop has been sitting for about 3 years, got it running but its running on 3 cylinders, changed spark plugs and leads still doing it??!

has abit of stale gas in it but didnt think they would be a big issue? gonna clean dizzy tomorrow but if they doesnt work any ideas?

Valve stuck open? (or closed)

 

Do a compression check before getting too carried away. If the dud cylinder has compression it will be fuel or spark.

 

See if the injector will squirt fuel into a cup.

 

Might be the dizzy cap, a crack by that cylinder lead, but there's not much else if you've done plugs and leads.

Dirty fuel certainly wont help.

 

Id be looking a blockex injector if you think the fuel is suspect.

simple check for injectors if you don't have equipment is swap 2... and see if the problem moves with the injector....
