1975 KE30
Hey guys I just bought a ae92 with a 4afc carby motor in it and was wondering if there is any cheap mods I can do that will increase power a bit, and would it be possible to swap the carby with efi Ps I don't have the money to put a 4age in it
parrot
Not really. You can do a compression test to check it's general condition and tune it properly. Anything else is really pissing in the wind. Any thing else means money - head work, cam etc. And conversion to EFI will be more complicated and expensive than you would think. My two cents: if the body etc is good, look out for a cheap AE92 4AGE twin cam with a grubby engine and tired body. Then swap everything across to your car. You will be surprised how much differs. 1975 KE30
Would it be an easy conversion, straight bolt up because it's the same car

parrot
That's why you swap everything across. Engine, suspension, brakes and especially wiring looms

oldeskewltoy
It is possible to get more from a 4AF engine, but it isn't cheap.
