Trent-KE30 Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 Ok need some quick replys here, going to get new shocks for my KE30 (front and back) tomorrow, what would you recommend, my old man swears by pedders, but i don't really know lol :lmao: Budget doesn't matter, Want a stiff ride, so it doesnt feel like a sponge lol Thanks Trent :) Quote
Corolla_Kid Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 I'm running monroes and its plenty stiff but I've heard good things about pedders. Quote
Trent-KE30 Posted April 27, 2006 Author Report Posted April 27, 2006 Thanks Corolla Kid, Are you ones Gas? I suppose they all are, I'm a newbie when it comes to this sorta stuff lol, -Trent Quote
speedway_rolla Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 The Monroe and Pedders come out of the same factory but are priced different.............I have ran both on my racecar and havent found a difference. They are both good quatily and would last on a roadcar for a while.... :lmao: Quote
coln72 Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 unless you have a bent shock mount like I did so it would rip the eye off the shock in a couple of months....... Apart from that Monroe GT Gas were fine for me, so were an old set of pump up shocks from a HK Monaro (cheap arse adjustable height suspension :lmao: ) Quote
Redwarf Posted April 27, 2006 Report Posted April 27, 2006 (edited) How much money do you have? I have Bilsteins and they rock. Edited April 27, 2006 by Redwarf Quote
Trent-KE30 Posted April 28, 2006 Author Report Posted April 28, 2006 Yeah been thinking about Bilsteins might be a bit overkill for my budget, I'am leaning towards the Monroe GT Gas at the moment, I also rang up today about getting my leafs reset 2 inches and painted, for $185, i thought that was a pretty good deal so i'am attempting to rip them out this weekend. -Trent Quote
