Heya guys,

I wanna get a 2nd good little car for the misses to learn in and aswell as little run about ... budget is 1000 to 3000 has to be a 4cyl 5sp, have a back seat and 4 doors. It also needs to be easy to get parts for, easy to drive, cheap to run.

I'm leaning towards this telstar I have borrowed from a family friend, but its FWD, 2.0 4cyl underpowered fuel guzler which puts me off.

Any suggestions?

Well, i have a ke70, and thats all i know about, but it would fit ure needs - 4 cyl, 5 speed, cheap on fuel, 4 door 5 seater, and HEAPS of parts for them - and u can put unleaded into them stait up! - RWDrive as well :)

I know about ford telstars, and i can tell u from expirence - u will only get trouble from them, and yes - they do suck the fuel like theres no 2 morrow !

it really depends - if u hunt around u can get really good cars - i got mine for $500 - needed a service and some things here and there, best part of 1500 / 1600 all up and she was regestered on road with safety cert and what ever else they give u lol

the other 2 cars i was looking at (Pre-Rollaclub days) were Datsun 120s and the old last model rwd Mazda 323 (1983ish)

:)
