ScottKE1X Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 selling a complience plate... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Toyota-KE10-corolla...1QQcmdZViewItem Quote
Ruts Posted July 2, 2006 Report Posted July 2, 2006 Why not - there is nothing on the plate that associates it with a specific chassis or engine - No VIN - although cars of that era didnt have VINs so I am guessing he/she really means no engine/chassis number. Quote
Des Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 it is supose to be illegal to buy stamped compliance plates but if u own a ford u give u car info to ford and they can send u out a new stamped compliance plate  Quote
Redwarf Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 It's not actually a compliance plate. It doesn't state ADR's, (although 10's are pre ADR) and has no numbers stamped on it. It's basically a quick reference plate, i.e: shows model, engine type.... Quote
