CV joint.... hes looking into it.... lol I need to confirm it's a CV joint yet - I didn't get a chance to get the wheel off, as it was too late when I got home (don't want to piss off neighbours) and I wasn't home all Sunday. CV's are $1,100 per side from Bridge Toyota. I'll give CBC a call when I get a chance and see how much less they want to charge. I know on my Galant I paid $800 for a driveshaft from Darwin Mitsubishi, and later paid about $120 for a complete shaft (with CV's) from CBC. Slight difference. :) adam what is a 18R like? mate just bought a celica with one? 18R's are okay. As Andrew said, they get modified HEAPS in the USA. A better option is to get an 18R-G head and put that on for twincam power. Pretty sure the conversion is the same as what I'm going to do with the 13T - remove the pushrods and stock cam, rotate the bearings, put on twincam head & intake system. :P http://www.zmit.info/gallery/namsc i think theres 2 or 3 there? i have more. but those are the ones i rated high.
