You guys have got a great idea happening, just remember you need shitloads of water when you go camping, believe me, been there and done it, if you don't have enough water it turns it into a miserable experience... mosquito repellent and a swag are neccasary too :)

Believe me on this... it will be a pain in the ass, no matter where you are, if you don't have enough water... haha.

Especially in the middle of the nullabor, in a old motorhome with no air conditioning, on a typical nullabor day. Waters also bloody expensive out there :P.

Their are a few calm areas of water lakes as people would say just ideas thought something is better then nothing but inland is good as well but for those who want a bit of adventure coolum does have the things that are required to do that but can always look at inland places.

Harrys Hut Perhaps...

harry's hut ive been there.nick your a legend, I'm 100% for harrys hut.

Hey so what dates are we think and where abouts so i can try and orgainse things with work over the weeks to come since i work weekends.

Situated in the Great Sandy National Park, in the Cooloola Section, Harry's Hut Camping Area is one of the most well known localities on the Noosa River. Beautiful scenery, enjoyable bush walks, a clean softly flowing river and lots and lots of bass are the things the area has always been famous for.from fishingmonthly.com

 

great place, the river is very close by, there is a toilet block.the drive way into the place is awesome a bit rough last time i was there but awesome.there is a town not to far away for supplies or what ever.if any one has any objections to camping at harry's hut stand up and be noticed.I'm looking for more info on harry's hut will post more soon. :y:

if you have a fobia of rats and snakes its not a good idea for you to come.last time i was there the rats were f*$king huge.if some one has a bb gun good target practise. :y:
