bruce Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 yeah the h4's are definately brighter and i can get higher wattage bulbs aswell, although it does recommend using a certain material casing from the extra heat of the bulbs, my low beems are brighter compared but my high beems are definately brighter, only prob is i don't have parkers, but the bumper does n wen on earth do u use parkers newaz. your welcome here lol its always good to have international members, you find out some intersting new things bout rolla's especially ke** Did you put in some different coloured light globes than the regular ones? Like, I had a browse on the net for H4's, and there are different colours to choose from: yellow, white, blue, and ultraviolet: H4 bulbs I've got sealed beams at the moment, so I can't swap to brighter globes. I think I've got 50 watts for low beam and 75 watts for hight beem, or somewhere around there. I might get the head light surround, then put brighter globes into that. Quote
shooter Posted September 24, 2006 Author Report Posted September 24, 2006 ive got 60w halogen globes from supercheap , originally i had 55w sealed beams n I'm looking at brighter bulbs maybe something slightly whiter Quote
Des Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 I had a choice of yellow but alot brighter or the blue/white look. obviously i took the yellow but brighter ones as i did all my driving at night at that time.the are really good.cost 25 for both bulbs. :P Quote
shooter Posted September 25, 2006 Author Report Posted September 25, 2006 sounds bout right , the warmer the colour ie yellowish produces more lumens so effectively brighter but the higher the burning temp the easier it is to see to a certain degree, so yellowish or just normal bulbs make it easier to see but the others white/blue are brighter, and of course the higher the wattage the brighter Quote
