Super Jamie Posted July 1, 2004 Report Posted July 1, 2004 if i had a dollar for every time somebody said they'd be getting a supra, i'd be a very rich man. it's almost as bad as someone asking questions about a turbo 4age in toymods. i'll believe it when i see it seriously, jza80s are overrated anyway. sure they look good have have phat engines, but they're so heavy and the understeer like a bitch with stock power, and the factory wheels are just crap. jza70, now THERE'S a real supra! good luck finding one tho :) maybe i'm just anti-mainstream, i don't really like ae86s either Quote
demuire Posted July 1, 2004 Report Posted July 1, 2004 While I wouldn't say that Supras are the "ultimate car", they are certainly a very good looking car, and they go fairly well too. I think they'd be more of a "cruise" car than a "race" car, more of a "tourer" than a "racer" if you catch my drift... AE86's... They're awesome little cars - well designed, have good engines (well, the Jap spec ones anyway) and they're simple and light. The chassis is fairly well balanced too. But yes, they are very highly overrated (and over priced) nowadays with the big doriftor thing happening. Quote
