Bugger. Oh yeah, I think my mate's had XE 18S, not EX 18S. Now I've just got to find out what the numbers on the struts refer to, and I might be able to find which model it's from.

I'd say it would be the same strut and thats just an identifying mark from the factory it was made.

If you shorten down these struts by 40mm and slap an adjustable coilover sleeve kit on it, they'd be great for racing/street use.

I worked out with my brake upgrade i'm doing, i will have bigger brakes than a KH Laser, front and rear and my friends KH laser is sooooooo touchy on the brakes. :D

There is no real point in me changing struts anymore, as the RX7 calipers will need an adaptor bracket made up no matter which strut I use. Plus, I can get a weld-on coilover kit and just use it on the standard KE55 struts, so I may as well go with that.

You might need a different strut still, I'm not sure which rotars bolt up to a stock hub easily. I think some sort of early magna one will work, but that won't be that big considering that your gong for a nice 4 pot calipar.

Okay...? But I'll also take into account that the RX7 Series 5 used 276mm discs and the Peugeot 504/505/604 used 273mm discs. I think the 258mm discs will be too small with the RX7 calipers.

What i mean is, that the brakes you are going to put on will be huge overkill. MY RA60 Celica struts and 258mm brakes will be overkill as well.

Also don't forget to up the size of your master cylinder.

I'll be going with a Hilux or Pajero master cylinder, whichever one bolts in (I'm pretty sure it was Hilux). As the car will be for racing use only, I don't really think the brakes will be overkill. Especially once I get a set of Yokohama Advans or similar on there. And when I work out the best way to convert the rear to discs, I'll be going for biggish ones too, so the fronts will have to be better than the rears (not too hard really, but I like some overkill). :D

all toyota part numbers are:

12345-12345 occasionaly with a 2 digit number after than, ususally for trim colours or paint codes
