chivarao_s Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Oh, your talking ports. Thought you were talking about components. I was sitting here thinking "WTF" haha. OMG who the hell would go polish his exhaust? He would probably be totally insane... I was talking about the exhaust ports :D lol Quote
Sam_Q Posted January 26, 2010 Author Report Posted January 26, 2010 no polished exhaust ports here. I just used the rotary burr and let it be after I was finished shaping. As for my engine no it doesn't have a supercharger, I am guessing your looking at my custom made air-box. Basically it goes like this: -air through the pod filter at the front - into air box - sucked into individual trumpets inside airbox - through the throttles and then into the engine and out the exhaust In other news things are working out well for me going to a watts link conversion, I have organised a fresh bottom end for my engine to be swapped over and lastly I am getting a reliable 8L/100km in traffic without driving slow. dbr11k Posted January 27, 2010 Report Posted January 27, 2010 wow thats insane i can appreciate the amount of work that has gone into this thing, very nice ! Quote
Sam_Q Posted January 27, 2010 Author Report Posted January 27, 2010 thanks, pity it's so damn ugly Quote
ZammoTheChoppa Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 sorry if i missed it somewhere sam but what KWs and RPMs were you trying to achieve on the latest motor? Quote
Sam_Q Posted March 15, 2013 Author Report Posted March 15, 2013 wow I forgot I had this on here, I have done many mods and the engines a few times since then. Without reading back through it I don't know what I was referring to in regard to upgrading the engine. I did however buy this: However I have ordered some OEM pistons to go with these rods instead, I may choose to use these pistons in the future. Lets see how stock pistons go being revved real hard.
