  1. Hey mate, just wondering what brand /size fuel cell you got? Did it come with a fuel level sender? That heat wrap doesn't go far! I bought 18' of to do my extractors and didn't get very far!! Good luck with the rest of the build!
  2. I used a vh44 remote brake booster in my KE25 http://www.minisport.com.au/prod1893.htm If you want to run a hydraulic clutch setup in the future, this might be a good option as there isn't a heap of room on the firewall to mount both a clutch master and brake booster. Check out my build thread to see how I mounted etc
  3. I had no choice but to get a custom swaybar fabricated to clear the Mazda sump. Give Don or Greg Selby a call at Selby Swaybars 0295255619, they will have a jig for KE20 and can custom make any size you want.
  4. Small Update; Got my rear suspension sorted out by Nick at Racetige in Taren Point. Reset leaf springs with reversed main leaf and VT Commodore Pedders Shocks. Also got some GT teardrop mirrors from eBay. Quick pic from the recent Renew vs SAU Round 2 at Wakefield - had a shocker but first time out in 3 years so very rusty!

  6. I honestly couldn't remember how much the bellhousing was!! Was so long ago!! Prices have prob changed anyway!! Talk to the guys at Dellow Automotive; http://www.dellowconversions.com.au/ They have been around forever and helped me out heaps.
  7. Thanks mate - it was engineered/registered up until a few years ago. I had it engineered with Consulmotive in Sydney; http://www.consulmotive.com.au/ I doubt i will register it again though cos i don't drive it enough plus noisy and attracts the wrong attention!! I'll just keep it as a track car.
  8. Picked up a cheap second hand Sparco Seat from eBay! (looks new to me!) I called Sparco Australia for info on their Seat Brackets and turns out the guy from Sparco is the same guy i bought the seat off!! Small World! Anyway he did me mates rates on Sparco Seat Mounts and a 4 point Harness!! Free plug for Sparco Australia; http://www.sparcoaustralia.com
  9. Thanks mate - appreciated! yeah it goes alright, always want more than right!! haha thanks, ive owned the car for over 10 years now so i can't see me ever parting with it! Cheers for the positve comments guys!
  10. Thanks for the comments! Personally i hate the way i did the strut brace!! id like to fabricate a new one that mounts to both the firewall and the top radiator support - one day! hahaha yeah the best way to deal with the missus is buy the parts first, then explain myself!!
  11. Thanks mate, Yeah ive always been a rotor fan as well, but my first car was a KE25 so i guess i got the best of both worlds! Plenty of pros and cons for any engine but if you love the rotor, don't get anything else cos you'll regret it! I did and i wasted a lot of money!!
  12. Small update, Bought myself a roll cage last week from a Toyota forum member in Melb. It was actually for a KE20 but it fit like a glove!! Was good to get the tools out and work on the car again. Will get a nice drivers bucket seat and harness next, then I'll start planning for fuel injection.
  13. Had to re-drill the rotors to suit 4 x 110pcd and fab a bracket to mount the caliper. Hoppers Stoppers do great kits at a pretty reasonable price.
  14. Thanks mate. I'm using a Ford KB Laser Master Cylinder with a VH40 Remote Booster for the front. PCD all round is 4 x 110mm - i kept it that way because I already had my Simmons!! Cheers!
  15. I found a couple more pics that should answer your questions in regards to mounting - see below; You can also see that I had no notch away at the cross member to make way for the bottom radiator hose. At some stage I would like to get a nice laser cut version of my crossmember but this one has served me well for over 10 years!!
