  7. Here's the story My original car is 1977 corolla 4 speed manual Hasn't been on the road for a few years due to a prang The running gear and interior are overrated as well as the front panels. Month's ago I picked up a reasonably straight minimal rust 1980 2door rolla coupe manual ex paddock bomb, no starter motor, drive shaft, radiator and it's never been started since I've got it. My aim is to get the 2 door registered by sticking the running gear from the 77 into the coupe I would like to keep the spend of this build low, and work with what I got. Cheers DZach23

  14. the 55's is/was a paddock bomb where as the 30's my old girl with 150 genuine km's on the clock (got it of the first owner who was a family friend) manual to manual so x-member will be no problem. :)
  15. i'm in vic and looking at putting a ke30's running gear into a ke55, are their going to be many stumbling blocks along the way rego wise or will everything be alright (besides the changeover)

I towed home a 1980 Corolla Coupe on the weekend (sunday) and i need to get it started to get it off the nature strip and up the drive. its missing a starter motor, tail shaft and radiator. i've got my 1977 sedan driveline thats i believe is changeable and i'm after pointers on how to remove and install the tail shaft. Please help or at least point me in the best direction.
  21. i have a 1977 corolla sedan that has basically been ridden off, the car was in excellent condition before the crash (Rear end collision) , very low km's, mechanically sound, interior and exterior in good original condition (no rust or cracks in dash) that sorta thing. I'm not sure what i should do with it. i would ideally like to keep all the good parts and put them into another corolla body but have basically been told thats a stupid idea. so what do you guys/gals think i should do, look for another body, sell for parts. i don't want to send it to a wrecker any feedback would be appreciated.
  22. I Want to know which parts won't go from sedan to coupe. Ie. Petrol tank, drive shaft, rear seats. Any info would be good. Thanks
