What would you need to weld back on if you cut it shorter? Wouldn't you just need to re drill and tap the holes for the steering wheeling...

When I'm turning my 55 on a slope the steering jerks after a full turn of the steering wheel. anydeas what would be the cause of this?

from what i hear on here, the ratios on each gear are the same 1-4 in both boxes, the 5 speed is essentially an overdrive gear added onto the 4 speed box to make the 5th gear. someone will probably correct me if i'm wrong. Edit: beaten to the point.

Simple question really... here's what I've got I've got a KE55X (hardtop) "rolling shell" and a Complete 3K running gear... in wrecked ke30 can I rego the ke55 with the 3k in it???

First car was a overrated low k's ke30 (avatar picture), drove it for 10 weeks then my inexperience got the better of me when I misjudged a gap between traffic. been parked on the driveway in that position for nearly 5 years now.... *avatar picture is photoshoped lower

i would like to transfer basically everything mechanical from one bent corolla to a straight corolla.

what is the best way to remove the front k-frame with engine and tranny still attached? and do I have to undo the steering. (i got a gregory's service and repair manual but it isn't helpful)
