Just out of interest i thought i'd create this thread. So post up what your first car was and any mods/ problems it had :wink:

 

My First car was an '82 ke70, Was resprayed before i bought it, previous owner "forgot" to mention that he'd chopped the springs, which fell out on the way home :lolcry:

Mini Moke when I was 11/12, got it for free from the guy down the road, sold it for 160 bucks a few weeks later.

An SV21 Camry badged as a Holden Apollo, 'champagne' in colour. Took it off road heaps despite it being in fairly decent nick, ended up being stolen.

ke55 was overrated, till i crashed it twice. corolla bug has bitten

Ta22 celica, with suprlows all round, k mac adj camber tops, 2tg (which I blew up twice), extractors, full exhaust autotechnica bucket seats all for 1000 bucks :D

4 door mk2 escort, rusty little thing but loved it to death, handbrake wasnt great and it rolled itself into a house while i was eating dinner :lolcry: (yes i know i should have left it in gear but i was young and silly)

 

and cars being made like they were at that age, just put a dent in the rear quarter and in the boot/bumper and did over 30k of damage to the house, which only cost me 200 dollars in excess because i wasnt driving the car!

I had a 1985 AE82 Corolla sedan. Being a born and bred holden man I hated the thing... drove it with almost no oil for a week, drove it so hard one time that it dumped all the water till it was bone dry... then drove her home :lol:

 

I cracked the head in 3 places and drove her for a year like that (top up the fuel and fill the oil ;) ). I never looked at a holden again!

Vc commodore stuffed auto did awesome burnouts though, bought it for 700 crashed it then sold it for 600 lol

Bought for $50 - driven all year for year 12 ran on the smell of an oily rag - then sold for $100

 

You should see how much the things sell for these days!! And this thing was pretty tidy :dance:

First car was a overrated low k's ke30 (avatar picture), drove it for 10 weeks then my inexperience got the better of me when I misjudged a gap between traffic.

 

been parked on the driveway in that position for nearly 5 years now....
