  1. Hi Glenn I think that you bought my pedal box? Join up here: https://www.facebook...ADLCorollaClub/ and ask, someone will be keen to help.
  2. Sorry, I have never bought any from there, so I didn't know this, but I think that you can get metal ones on ebay too, they should be ok.

  4. It is a 1981 Kos Kruiser it is 26". I have two of them, and I just bought the 2012 Kos Kruiser as well. http://www.mongoose.com/aus/2012/2012-kos-kruiser A.
  5. Do these carburetors have electric cut out solenoids on them? are they connected?
  6. I need to know about this too. Will a 5K electronic distributor work on a 7K-C or 7K-E, someone mentioned to me that the 7K distributors have a longer shaft? Thanks, A.
  7. I have had this problem before, I swapped carburetors, mucked about with vacuum lines, etc. ended up tightening the intake manifold and that fixed it. A.

Spotted flat front, white, KE70, with quadlights, pulling in to Shell O.G. Road about 11:30 this morning. Anyone here? A.
  9. Here's one on eBay: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOYOTA-COROLLA-KE30-35-CORONA-RT100-FUEL-CAP-KEY-oa-/310322078741?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4840a32415 A,
  10. Depends on what you call easy, you will need a press to remove the old bearing from the axle, and again to install a new one. A.
  11. You may need another clutch, if the spline count is different on the K50. A.
  12. If you are thinking of making Caltracs this may be of some help: http://www.hotrodsandhemis.com/traction1.html http://www.hotrodsandhemis.com/Traction.html W.
  13. Ethanol is the stuff that you drink in beer, wines and spirits. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethanol I can't find any factual reference to it being corrosive or it being a solvent to any of the plastics, or rubber that is used in automobile fuel systems. Apparently plastic fuel tanks are made of polypropylene and this chart says that polypropylene is ethanol resistant: http://www.vp-scientific.com/polypropylene%20properties.htm There are references to it being a problem on the web though: http://www.google.com.au/webhp?rls=ig#sclient=psy&hl=en&newwindow=1&safe=off&rls=ig&site=webhp&q=ethanol+and+plastic+gas+tanks&aq=1&aqi=g3&aql=&oq=&pbx=1&fp=9ee942b6aec5b84d Maybe the problems occur when it is mixed with hydrocarbons? There are problems with ethanol attracting and mixing easily with water, which is corrosive to metal engine parts and fuel tanks, lines, etc. Over the years I have had water in my fuel tanks a few times, if there is not too much in there, I have added methylated spirits to the tank to mix the water with the fuel. These days methylated spirits is not methyl alcohol but ethyl alcohol, another name for ethanol In the U.S. they have E85 which is 85% ethanol fuel. W.
