God you guys are smart. There is a blue loom that was unplugged under the dash. (The white neons under my dash come in handy) So i plugged it in and it works. thanks. Now, new problem. the lights stay on perminately when the wires are connected. Any ideas??

Why does it bother you so much??

Hi, as the title says, i have no brake lights. I've got indercaters, reverse lights and even tail lights. Its just the break lights that don't work. I've tried: I've changed the fuse. I've changed the bulbs. I've checked the wireing as much as i could without ripping anything appart. I'm not sure what triggers the brake lights so i checked the wire coming from the brake booster. Still, no lights. Please does anyone have any ideas?? I'd like to be able to fix it myself but if i can't, i'll have to take it to an Auto Electrition. If i do that i'd get them to look at the problem with my headlights but thats not urgent. It can wait. Anyone got a clue?? Jon.

You've converted the ugliest looking toyota into something hot. I bow down to your feet. Sadly, i'm stil not a fan of the rear. Its still ugly. You need to rip the rear end from another car. I think i'll just end up putting a nice tacho in its place. I just picked up my car from my panel beater today and she didn't wanna start at first. If i don't run the car daily, the crappy clock that works sometimes, flattens the batterie. :hmm:

While she was getting repaired i used my mums and dads car once. The gear box went. So i had to catch several busses to the city to get my car and now for the next couple weeks I have to drive my olds around. The crappy part is that i'll be paying for some of it so Lolla will miss out on stuff. :hmm:

**UPDATE** (Continued) So today i got my car back from my panel beater. Heres how she was before: And Now. Heres the repair on the bonnet The side view with the new apron, bumper and grille. the bumper is yet to be polished up. I had two choices of aprons. One early KE30 one and the late KE30/KE55 one. I chose the Late KE30/KE55 one cause i like how it flares out in the front. Now lastly, a front on shot. Before Lolla was just 3 colours, now she has another 3. She's Yellow, Baby shit (Mustard), Gold, Grey and now White.

**UPDATE** Okay, so after i did the boot release latch, i fitted the cable. Heres how it turned out: Heres the lever. It still has the fuel door cable attached. I'm currently looking if there are any cars that had just a single lever. I don't really need a fuel release. It also tucks away behind the panel between the two doors. My panel beater today told me he could weld me up a bracket for it to fix onto since it is currently loose. ...

So when are you planning of shooting this??

I can usually fit a maccas two cup tray sideways between my hand brake and seat. If i widen it i can fit all cup sizes. If the thin side brakes its still held up by the seat. :y: When it gets tatty, i'll just gett another. Usually out of my glovebox. (I've got an endless supply) :hmm:
