  1. ae92 starter with trd copy extractors here in my ke70, all fits fine.
  2. If you can't figure it out you can always spend a few hours looking at toyodiy pages for the parts you have on your desk :P http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/g_G_1983_TOYOTA_COROLLA_KE70R-EEMDCQ_1.html
  3. Wow... amazing car man... I am speechless!!! I hope my KE gets to be so awesome one day.
  4. I think they've misjudged the size of truck they'll need to tow that :P
  5. Thanks KENut, and I'm running the KE70 tops on 86 struts with stock lcas.
  6. So I'm looking for some wheels for my KE70 and I'm wondering if 14x7 +0 and 14x7.5 -6 will fit inside the guards (with little to no work) on ae86 struts and steering arms.
  7. Got a hold of an AE92 starter and fits fine, I am sorted in the clutch/starter department, thankyou both!
  8. Ok well I guess the throwing bearing that came with my t50 from the ae71 will be fine to use with a 212mm clutch. Thanks
  9. So what I've read about the FWD throwout bearing being incompatible with the T50 is bs then? Because there are no 212mm 4AGE clutches that came in RWD format... right?
  10. Thanks again Trev, sorry for the confusion! How do I go about getting an AE86 thrust bearing... is there some way I can get a 212mm AE92 clutch kit and ask them to pair it with an AE86 kit bearing? (I have a 212mm flywheel sitting here, so it's the obvious choice)
  11. Ok so everywhere I have read the GZE flywheel and clutch are all 225mm, the smallport GE are 212mm and the bigport GE are 200mm. I know that I need a 212mm or 200mm clutch/flywheel combo to fit in my T50. What I want to know is if the AE101 starter that my GZE is coming out of can be used with this combination or if I need to get a starter from something else... and if so, what car can I get one out of that will work with this setup? (easily available... please!)
  12. Okie dokie so considering I'm using the same clutch I should be fine. Thanks trev.
  13. Ok so in the hope that no one flames me for asking a question related to 4AGZE -> RWD with all the information available, I am looking for a list of car models of which the starter motor can be used with an AE71 T50 behind an AE101 4AGZE with an AE92 212mm flywheel, please! I cannot find a definitive answer, sure there's people who say a 4AC starter works and 4AGE starter works, but are they talking about starters from FWD or RWD format etc. Common sense says the AE71 4AC starter and AE86 4AC/4AGE starter would be immediately obvious, but was the flywheel not a smaller diameter? Does this hold no bearing on whether the starter can be used or not? And on top of my question other than a wrecker or forum member, is there anywhere you can purchase reconditioned or used starter motors from in Sydney, thanks! (and don't stab me) [/walloftext]
  14. I was thinking a new block would be easier, but I've never rebuilt an engine before and I'm new to this whole thing so I don't really want to go that route if I can avoid it...
  15. Thanks Trev I'll look into it. This sucks!
  16. Hi guys my name is Tim and I recently bought a keto and am currently in the process of doing the usual 4age into keto conversion... now my problem lies in the fact that the engine I bought has obviously been in a car that was in a decent sized accident and one of the tabs off the block where the bellhousing attaches has broken off. Some genius decided a resin was strong enough to hold it but that has since broken while the engine has been on the stand. I haven't taken any pics of the actual break itself but I have found one online and illustrated where it has broken off (completely, not cracked). I'm wondering if it's easy enough to get it fixed or if I should just buy another block; and if it is easier to get it fixed, will I have to strip everything off the block while it's being done? Also what are the chances something will become warped during the weld and render the block useless anyway? Anyway enough talking, here's the pic:
  17. Its nice finding info like this because it'll save me asking in a few months heh.
