After playing on photoshop and getting close to the bmw blue I thought it wouldnt work, the blue felt to new for the car and made it look cheap. So i settled for a deep burgandy red which i got some today and did 1 test coat, will look better with more coats.

Not much to report as of yet. Had a sanding disc explode while doing some work around the KE and it cut my finger straight to the bone. But should stop me from working on it over the Holidays once is a bit more healed.

I like these flares . hmm

I want to finish body work first then start thinking of a engine conversion and all that jazz.

If anyone was curious as to how to get it off i just got the angle grinder and shaped the round head so my 12mm spanner can fit onto it.

So it's a locating pin ! Still no head and not sure how it comes out

Does anyone know how to undo this bolt ? I can't see the head of it so it just spins the bolt while undoing the nut.

Toyota was so Jewish with the hosing to the fuel tank. nearly impossible to put the tank back in with out extending some of the hoses

Finally ! Left have been polished and restore , right are still Jdm'z fresh

Went to bmw to suss out the previous colour that I mentioned and found was a little to dark so went a shade lighter. Need to get onto cutting out rear guards and welding Wheels & Quad lights on there way. And Might of lined up a 4k-e

I use E-go never had a problem. Cheap & reliable!

The model/chassis of your car must of been in production from factory before 1988 , Example : 1992 Toyota Supra Ga70 is accepted because it was in production from 1986-1993 All cars participating in this event must meet the above requirements. Will make some exceptions on certain models BUT DROP ME A MESSAGE TO DISCUSS. The Good -We recommend you get to the first meet point around 10am as the first meeting point will be the longest for pics/hellos/talking rubbish/eating. -We encourage people with non Nostalgic cars to come have a look see, we just ask you to park away from the event. -Maps will be handed out to cars that qualify to the above requirements or have been invited by us. The Bad -We kindly ask you to not overly rev or screech your tyres around any of the meet points. Hey all Many of you already know me from my previous Ghetto Sled Ke70 and everything inbetween. I'm happy I'm back in a ke70 corolla and always told myself I would only come back in a wagon/van, well this weekend I finally found a decent one to restore with minimal rust as it was a car from inland. Reason for buying this as I want a cool project for summer (get me away from gta5) and my E30 chews fuel going from work and back . Style I'm going for is the old school 80's but with some touring car features as I will be doing 2-3 hour trips to race my kart around W.A. Things I'm chasing -Quads light and grill -Work Equips Mk1 -Chrome Front bar -Roof racks Let me know what you think :)
