  1. R15x8 +-0 offset 205/60 Will fit without rubbing the struts, don't mind rubbing body work. Are then fiberglass Flares that you bolt on are legal? Cheers

Hey Mate Not a bad start, ke70 registered for $600 :dance: I'm in the same boat as you, got mine for $500, 3 months rego Just work through the process of bringing back to its youth, don't rush anything and whenever you need help just come here and have a look/ask around. The car is as basic as they come so try do as much labour as you can when fixing stuff. Goodluck

  7. You get Dirty Drift Pigs.. But do you get Clean Drift Pigs ? Dude loving it! Exhaust Pipe needs to be longer and Kinked UP!
  8. Rust loves to work its way down! If you find rust somewhere low down on the car always search above it! How much was the Ke70 off the showroom floor? 930Kg? Mines about 500Kg Now :lolcry:
  9. Just wanted to start this to see if i've missed any or maybe you have missed some rust when doing a mini restore! City: Perth Model: Ke70 1984 Slant front Where: Front Right Fender , Where the arial goes in ( Small ) Left sil , Below the door Pillar ( Medium ) Right sil , Top of sil where passenger plastic step is screwed into the sil. ( Very Small ) Left passenger door Entrance, On the Main body just Parallel to the plastic Vent on the Pillar ( Meduim ) Left Back Vent , Underneath the vent ( Small ) Both Rear wheel Archers , ( Meduim ) Fuel Cap , On the seam Welds ( Small ) Boot, around the Boot Rubber ( Small ) Back Right lower panel, The panel just behind the rear wheel can be accessed from boot. ( Meduim ) Back Bumper Bar Panel , Take the Bumper bar off!! On and in around the seam weld ( Large ) Under spare wheel , lots Thats about it Would like to hear where you guys have found rust Cheers

Hey Fellas Just was curious what Bumpers actually fit the Ke70 I know the Te72 and T18 but I'm not paying $600 for that :D So tomorrow I'm going to pick up some Chrome bumpers off a xt130 Wagon and see how that goes. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to Cut there Brackets off and weld the orginal ones on I will post some pics to show :) Cheers
  15. Hey guys So got a quote on some new rubber $420 for the set of Khomu tyres which are 195/50/R15 But been looking around and found some Ae86 Struts with kyb shock king spring- R150 But not sure what else I would need i have a late 84 Ke70 Please let me know what I will need
  16. Cheers everyone for the helpful info Really appreciated, Been doing some research and saw that some guys are buting Nissan S13's struts and brakes in, Whats needed for that conversion cause I can get my hands on some stock standard struts really cheap. Cheers

  18. soooo today was fitting my new wheels and bam! the front wheels touch the struts!! I had a feeling the would happen Can you please help me with a solution. If already come up with a couple of solutions and would like your opinions Wheels size : 205/60/R15 didnt have offset stamp so measured it 120mm 1)Spacers - But illegal in Wa :( 2)Flipping the rims - Not to sure if it would work,if I do I'm going to have to chop the wheel archers.But I don't mind i got arch flares 3)Changing the Camber - Would need someone to walk me through the process. 4)Changing the Tyres - NOOO , to much of $$$$ 5)Strut coversion - Need more info Cheers

Hey Guys Need some good advice, My Ke70's wheels are protruding out the guards, I have bought some wheel arch flares and before installing them I want some info on rolling my guards or Arch flares. How much extra mm will I get by rolling my guards? and wats happens to the little bog thats there? Are Arch flares legal? and whats the best way of installing them? All info is appreciated Cheers
