  1. They do but I'm getting impatient haha, this things moving along quickly though
  2. Ok this thing will hopefully be done in the next few weeks and I can get my 2 door back and put endless work into it to get it done, I've rolled the rear guards and the 225's fit perfectly and have rotors and rebuild kits for the brakes so the next job will be making new front hubs in a 4 stud so I can put the front wheels on. Again sorry to anyone who is missing seeing this car progressing
  3. So I got a 205/50/15 fitted aswell as a 225/50/15, 205 is a perfect fit on the wheel but even the 225 still fits nice,I knew the 205 would fit the car, 215 would be close and throught the 225 would hit but lord behold it's absolutely perfect, couldn't be happier, just need to roll the inner lip up and she's good to go
  4. This shows just how critical my wheel size and offset is
  5. Presents turned up today, just like Christmas day
  6. Thanks mate, I'm on the hunt for gutter trims too, I have parts but I have another 2 door that will be build into a rally car plus a coupe for a road resto and my brother has a 55 race car and I'm currently restoring the body of another 55 for him haha so I need my parts
  7. Wheels have turned up, waiting on material for my plenum and ordering intercooler, oil cooler, radiator and a rear wing, once the intercoolers in I can make my entire plenum, need the intercooler in so I know where to point the throttle body, then I can fit up some tires to the rims, make new alloy front hubs for the rx7 stubs but in a 4 stud and then with them and the cooler I'll be ready to start making up the plugs for my fibreglass moulds. But first I need to get my brothers car out of the shed, that means rust repairs, paint and reco the diff and front end then back to his place and I'll get my car back. Hopefully it won't be too long
  8. I haven't given up, just been very busy, the cam cover is done and I'm currently organizing wheels then I'll make my intake plenum
  9. And I have steering ???????????????????????????? bias control mounted also, now onto the engine, first up is cut and shut the oil filler so it's straight and make the intake plenum
  10. Thanks mate, good to know people are still reading and enjoying even if theres not a lot to read, I go with the whole a picture says a thousand words theory. I've moved the car into my brothers shed while I help him do a quick road resto on his new ke55, I will keep working on mine though
  11. Half thinking about putting my shift and oil light in the plate otherwise stick to the pull through plan and mount the lights further up the column
  12. Did some painting touch ups last night, driver seat and harness in for good tonight and I started on my steering column at lunch
  13. Yeh it wasn't easy, finding a few spots that haven't got full cover so that's a pain, will do some touch ups Sat everything it just to get them out of dads way for work tomorrow, looks even better with some black added
  14. Well that was an effort and a half, very happy with it though now the waiting game
  15. Doors and boot lid stripped and sanded and everything cleaned down ready for paint in the morning, geez those doors are light when they're bare
  16. Nearly there, holes filled, no more grinding and welding. Sanding, vacuuming and cleaning tomorrow night then the big day ????????????
  17. Pedal box turned up today, went to see a mate to get some ally prob plate and came home with the whole lot folded and gussets made all ready to be welded haha
  18. There's not too much body work needed, actually started out as a bloody good shell, would've been a good body for a resto, the real work will come when I start the fiberglass front end. Front tank mout in and a couple of L shaped tags to try and cut out some viabration in the floor, ideally I should've pressed some ribs into the floor before welding it in
  19. Rust finished and I've mounted my window net, wasn't paying $50 for a mounting rail so I made my own for the cost of a $5 spring
  20. Made good use of a day off work and fabbed up the panels for the driver side, should be finished tomorrow
