i was going to buy a BP 12a in a ke20 before i bought my ke30 and that was regestered :) so yea i will have to wait and see :)if i can't do it i will just go non turbo

i will be going to regency to find out what I'm allowed to do but first i need ur guys help and opinions and know how of what is possible haha. thanks NISROLA. much appreciated. I'm doing a diesel mechanic apprentiship so what ever happenes I'm guarrenteed work for 4 years :) I'm planning to spend quite alot on this car haha.

yea tom i know about 13bt_ke20. yea haha scottys car is a tad quicker with the 2j now though. haha and man wen that thing spools! yea sweet as sikke20!

hey peoples, not sure if too many people have done this, (know of one) :) in the near future I'm rebuilding my ke20. when i say rebuild i mean completely strip it, redo the body and then fit a 13b turbo, rx7 5 speed, hilux diff, brake upgrade etc. just wondering if anyone has any info at all that would help me with this project. ok change of plans I'm now doin ga full restoration in about april next year after i buy my new car. havent decided on a colour yet but it will either be the colour it is now, the dark forest green that holden do with there VE commodores or the flat original colour (bamboo). motor wise will either be a 13bdet, crazy worked 5k or a 20v/4age. changing the interior, redoing the dash something like this http://www.carsales.com.au/Tig/UI/PagePopup.aspx?R=10723670&PhotoID=12416542&h_mid=4415219&f_mid=&c_mid=4414491&pid=140973&tabID=304744&tsrc=allcarhome. and yea. LSD r31 or hilux diff, big brakes, coilovers allround, will either get some watanabes or just keep the 14inch stockies. thats about it so far. just a general idea :)

LED's are in and look super good! haha :laff: oh and for something different i installed a ke70 interior shelf under the glovebox. :wink:

ordered hard to find as cheap as this brand new K&N 32/36 webber filter :) should be here soon. still bloody waiting for my LED's. guy lives in sydney who i bought them from and it doesnt take 5 days to get them from there to adelaide. -_-

yea man shes a good little car atm. want to do a full rebuild later on. still keep the same look but put some form of twin cam 2 litre or mabey even a rotary. not sure yet. just get her nice on the outside first. will always stay this colour. love it :)

Hey peoples, my daily ride is a 1972 ke20. this car was always the car i was going to own and hey now i have one. its pretty damm clean for a car of its age and goes great all day every day. the downsides to the car are the small bit of rust beneath the back window, tiny bit of rust inside the door/window frame, a fairly large ding down the passenger side of the car ( previous owner fell asleep at the wheel) -_- and scratches on the bonnet and left side of the car where the previous owner went through a barb wire fence GRRR!!! payed $2700 for it and have plans to spend lots on it!! haha Specs as it sits now: 5k with webber carby 5 speed thermo fan mounted on larger radiator. (not sure what its from) 14inch stockies thicker leafs steering column mounted tacho bucket seats saas steering wheel ET exhaust system electronic regulator new top and bottom hoses GT40R ignitiion coil Plans: whitewalls later on do a full rebuild. (port and ploished head, cam, valves, springs,tune carby, pistons etc...) if not will get a periferal port 12a :) gilmer drive belt twin solex 40mm webbers upgrade brakes to later model corolla HID kit with crystal housing LED indicator and brake light bulbs granny visor (mabey) fix rust :) fix dent and scratches :) redo roof lining Chrome wheel rings and wheel nuts rear seats re-upholstered new head unit and speakers redo door cards K&N filters (just for the hell of it)!! thicker sway bar brake booster Chrome radiator overflow possible LSD diff donky dick exhaust tip and muffler thats about if for now :) Pics are below
