  1. these are popular mods for a while now huge on the Ruckus scene http://totalruckus.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=4333 http://forums.evolutionm.net/welding-fabrication/456721-diy-lug-nut-key.html my personal fave are the lug nut i have seen a swiss army knife , switch blade one for the Ruckus, and doing a Spyder knife one for the Met, like this one love the concept do agree, recommend a shorter handle, so you don't damage the barrel
  2. very much so on the back burner mate... so far back that it may not go forward(by me anyway) de registered and sitting at the shed of the guy i bought my 1275 from...
  3. that sucks mate.... WGMG spending all night at the ER with a tooth literally broken in half, right side of my face swolen(assuming its from infection) and looking like i went 12 rds with Tyson, finally get looked at, after all the drunks and self inflicted injury id10ts only to be told they can't do dental work, give me a couple panadol, and send me on my way home... and being redundant, i can't afford a dentist... havent been to bed yet...
  4. and heya Iro, Arrested Develpment makes a return may 25 on Netflix..! and rumoured to be in very early discussions for a movie sorry to go Offtopic, but if you are a fan too, i felt you might be interested and a Ron to get us back on topic
  5. hi mate, i assume i can as i have kept the frame part with all the Zoomer 'VIN' etc. once this girl is running right and i am reasonably happy with her, i will start on the Ruckus/Zoomer build Thanks to Trev(who gave me a huge workbench) and rob who helped bring her over, i now have plenty of space in my shed to 'Bring Da Ruckus..!
  6. got her running ok, tidied up the wring a bit, still needs more havent wired up the tail light yet the blue bag holds the battery, as the battery and ecu are usually in the big box under the seat on a std Met/Scoopy can't afford to buy anything for a while, but i need paint for her, wire the tail light, and fit the big gun exhaust wont be fitting the fatty or extra stretch kit til i test it out for a week or so, iron out the bugs, etc
  7. my reaction right before i impulse buy a new ride...
  8. got the whole Ruck rear end fitted up, minus the Mojo Customs fatty/extension kit how the ruck front end sits for now... ran out of light to do anymore fingers crossed, this should be running tomorrow then to get the Rucktro together :-P thanks for your time
  9. didnt have to work today so i got stuck into it Met front with a Ruck rear = Metruck or the OZ version, Scoopy front with a Zoomer rear shall we call it a Scoomer or a Zoopy? lol comparison pic of the Met(Right) vs Ruck(Left swingarm swapping them gives you a nice stretch(Ruck into a Met) or shorter wheelbase(Met into a Ruck), depending on which way you go the weights in the variator seem fine all bolted together.
  10. HTFU Septemberrrr..!
  11. oh the irony..!
  12. some idea as to what my plan is ruck rear, met front like this, looks the secks
  13. started the strip down of the rear pretty much where i got to, ran out of light oh put the speedo in the battery box and tidied up the Bars on the ruckus, too will take a better shot of the setup when i can
  14. first thing was to swap over front rim/tyre/brake assembly from this 10" x 2.125" with a crappo tyre to this: 10" x 3" new 90/90/10 road tyre that came with my orders for the Ruckus(never bolted it on her tho)
  15. this is what greeted me this morning in the shed seat Effed, but i wont be using the rear end
  16. ah cool mate..!
  17. i agree mate..! were they standard? finished work, so i will take some pics and look at what my mate has left me in the shed (Rob and Trev, it was the 'scary man' who owns the scoopy, a dude owed him cash, so he signed the scooter rego over to cover the debt, lol) his plan is maybe to fund a custom scooter shop in town now, depending on how well these 2 come out. mine will be a budget job, he has access to all sorts of sht and will prob be more crazy than mine will get back to you guys later thanks for your time
  18. haha i do mate.... wifey aint happy...lol
  19. fastest push mower?
  20. we went and picked up the scoopy this arvo. pretty much like this one, but rougher in fact, it gets no rougher got home late tonite got both of them in the shed, will take pics tomorrow havent made a decision yet as i can't afford to spend cash on anything right now. so if he says i can do it free, and he makes something up with the leftovers(pretty much a complete ruckus tho), i might will post more tomorrow thanks for your time
  21. thats an interesting question mate short answer, yes, as far as the guys at totalruckus.com go. they say the front fairing allows for better aerodynaimcs when leaning down low or 'tucking in' they suggest the 'gearing' in the mets allow for more customization, smaller drive belt, sharper ramps in the CVT, so in effect you may be able to get faster acceleration, and higher top end, due to the smaller belt can travel further up the 'curve' and the different shape ramp allows for faster acceleration, then you can fine tune it to suit the person with various roller weights, etc(over my head, literally regurgitating their stuff here) but then again, all that can be interchanged to the ruckus engine anyway. they are both the 'GET' type honda engine having said that, i have nfi what parts i would run from which scooter yet, til if/when i get to look at his his 'metro' is the older model, '02 and seems a simpler design regarding the engine, etc, and has done a lot more kms than mine I'm assuming? TBH, i am thinking i could simply use his engine/drivetrain with the Metro front, with my Ruckus rear, and bypass whatever is wrong with my scoot as it sits now also scoring a one of a kinds scoot(as far as i know) in Oz..!
