cool mate. will look into them..! don't have any links? now, a mate has gotten a Honda Scoopy(the Oz version of the Metropolitan), like this one and really would prefer a ruckus he said i can take it free, so i can do what i was thinking of doing a while back, wanting the first Metruck in Oz..! as most parts are interchangeable like these i can pick all the cherry parts from both scoots to do it, including engine, steering, my stretch kit, etc and get mine going first, and he will take the leftovers and build a ruckus slowly MMMMM decisions....

haha for some reason it makes me think of Stewie Griffin and Lois

thanks DougE..! and yeah agreed..! once she is running good, I'm keen. i know Joel has a few Z50 monkey bikes? and no luck Reed.... think i have to concede defeat, and take her to Honda or something... or you put a 4 k in it, as you suggested...lol

haha... omw to work then ENZED and Honda will report back asap

AUDM YO, it is about 4" longer, mate and heya Reed, i really don't think it's overheating, just the display light is known as the 'engine temp light' in the ruckus scene. going by what i can find on the Zoomer, of which mine is, it is more likely a 'check engine light'. so i think it hasnt been overheating at all. whether its after i recently starting it and not had time to get hot, or after its been idling and warm, i give it a 'Blaat', it starts to miss and fart along, go into limp mode, and i have merely seen the light come on, assuming it has overheated maybe the ECU sensed the lack of fuel pressure, or the engine is leaning out now due to it, and the combustion chamber is getting too hot, before actually overheating, and it goes to limp mode i did the ole skool fuel flow test, running the fuel line to a container and she gets plenty of fuel(more than 200mL/minute, but maybe not enough on demand? i think these run at 43psi too, so the bigger diameter fuel hose has to have reduced the pressure? will try find the right stuff from ENZED today its a brainf#$k for sure thanks for your input guys

hi mate thanks for the reply, yeah tried swapping back the stock rim etc to try isolate the problem this error pops up after the first 'blaat' of the throttle, regardless of rim, or how long its been running, ie right after cold start, or it can sit and idle for half hour, no error(i did this to try bleed air ot of the cooling system), then first blaat' and bamm, error.. thats why i am now leaning towards fuel? thoughts?

not sure who has read my thread, but i have been having issues for near 2 weeks(since fitting my mods) all the symptoms seemed to me, like the 'overheating issues' or or something in the wiring i had done wrong since the fatty and stretch kit was fitted. it had to be something i've done..! it was running fine as a daily right up til the day i stripped her to prep for the mods.. i reset the ECU, tested the thermostat, any of the sensors, and finally stripped the wiring looking for a pinched wired, loose connection or anything like that, that i may have inadvertently caused.. all to no avail.. now, sorry for the long winded post, but now to the meat and veg of the story: today i got to thinking.. my Zoomer has the PGIM Fuel injection, not a carby that most of the U.S modded ones use and Mojo Customs would expect i removed the standard fuel line when i fit my fatty/stretch mojo kit and fitted the supplied fuel hose, went about the rest of the fitment the black one is the OEM Fuel Injected line the blue is the one that came with the kit, that i now have on her, similar outer diameter look at the inner diameter.. so my question is: i have a larger size fuel line on her, which means the fuel pressure would have to be lower than whats required for the fuel injection? is that all thats wrong with my girl after effing around with everything else for the last 2 weeks? going to bed to sleep on it any input appreciated thanks in advance

spent all day literally stripping black tape of all the wires from front to rear... front and rear found one crushed spot put it all back together, nothing changed.... still starts to sputter and then the CEL flashes on and off, goes into limp mode... oh well, she goes of to honda methinks...

so i started working out again

cool mate going out to the shed now to get back into it
-
agreed mate they are stickers and will be removed, as soon as i get it running right no idea mate. on long rides, i may feel a bit hunched over. will have to wait til i take her for a good ride(once its running right) and report back thanks mate..! so impatient to be able to enjoy her...

only good thing is, my lazy eye arrived..!

"i can't ride her though as its overheating.. was sure ive bled the system as per their suggestion.. oh well, back to the drawing board" this has had me stumped for a fair while now.. it feels like it isnt overheating but during the initial diagnostic, during startup, all checks out ok. then the minute i put her under ie, take off with my fat arse on her, regardless of engine temp, the CEL comes on, indicating an overheating error.. having so much trouble finding manuals for these, as it is a japanese zoomer, and not the U.S. ruckus(plenty of info on them) and these are wired differently, different colours, locations for PCV, most sensors, etc. been a real headf#$k.. but i played it safe and tested the thermostat when cold - OK at 75 degrees - OK finally got onto a mate who i used to train with who is based in japan, who actually found a PDF of the Zoomer manual, in the U.S. in english for me....lol going by it, i tried the following, bled the cooling system, tested the coolant sensor's resistance(within tolerances), tested the coolant level sensor, and reset the ECU, ECT, and any other 3 letter acronym i could find... i was stumped..! still am TBH so i rang Toowoomba Honda this morning and got onto Andrew there(service guru, all round top bloke), who explained to me, something along the lines of: "ok, if it was fine before the mods, it has to be something you've done" "check all the wires, you may have stretched the harness when putting on the stretch kit, somewhere in the harness, a plug or wire may not be joining correctly." "one wire may be pinched and exposed somewhere, a plug in the harness might not be correctly making contact" he gave me a list of possible things to check. will be heading out after work, to strip her down and check every wire, plug, nut and bolt... at least if its something like that, it wont cost much fun times

almost like me, at a subway takeaway, but a couple were having cuppa's and one had burnt themselves, then spilt it all over them the bloke's reaction was similar to the above
