took the moke to my call out at work this arvo. didnt see the clouds til i got there the box has all my plush toys in it for the claw machines went in, fixed some machines, and came out to pouring rain.... to make the best out of the situation, i put on my aviator helmet, steam punk goggles, and went for a cruise, in the rain..! loved it plans tomorrow are to pull the 'dash' out, tighten up whatever is making a rattle in there whenever the engine is on, redo the black paint on the dash pieces and refit tidy up the exterior paint, with a buff, or 2000grit wet and dry(still unsure which way to go), still researching best option thanks for your time

totally agree mate i recently had a guy parked next lane from me at lights, abuse me saying to ''get that thing off the road..!" "there is no way that is legal" i said it had plates and smiled at him. he drove off in a huff. off duty transport guy, or cop? nfi, but i laughed as for the seats mate, i was worried the same, but they are suspended, like a hammock, so your body is floating, and rather comfortable. I'm sure on a long drive, the padding would squash and it may get a tad uncomfortable hey, Orange, i found you on another rather well respected forum too, mate at least i assume it was you going by some of your posts there, you know your stuff :-D

as long as the foot peg holes were welded up, and the pillion seat removed, was all we used to need to do mate i bet sht has changed since tho...

i had visions of all those burnt out or stripped cars you see along the highways, etc, if i left her there sorta funny in a way now that I'm home gotta jack her up today to see if there is any damage to the underside, as the front wheels were literally floating in the air, the car was sitting on the edge of the culvert, by the body or something, just behind the front wheels if anyone lives near there or drives that stretch, watch out for Lawton rd, if you use it for a U-turn the western side of the side 'street' has a hidden drop off. the western side has a huge cut down tree protecting that side. should've taken pics, but wasnt in that frame of mind at the time the only other thing i could find damaged, underneath, was this dint on the exhaust. it looks rusty, tho so may not have been caused at the time so i think i was lucky cleaning up the moke today in preparation for sale, but i hope to wash the Nerfroster and take some nicer pics with the JDM tail lights fitted thanks for your time

a good day, today. thanks to Tony, i got the headsup about some JDM tail lights for sale on here. raced down to Brissie to get them this arvo took the Mt Glorious rd home for a change of scenery. stopped for a couple of Iphone pics what was funny, as i was leaving this spot, i went over the edge and got stuck in a culvert.... no reception, no one around. considered locking up the car and walking to find civilization... was literally crapping over leaving the car if i had to. would rather die than leaver her alone on a dark road, where anything could happen to her. some evil being may have deflowered her..! rang 112, the emergency number, who patched me through to Brisbane police somewhere, who, without a proper address, couldnt help me. he said to wait by the car and hope someone would drive past eventually someone did, a worker in a ute, who hitched his towbar to m mine with a cable, and pulled me out. then bamm! disappeared before i could even thank him..! crazy.. so, stoner looking ponytail guy with a cool accent, driving a white road works type ute, I thank you back on the road to home, via the dam was dark when i got home, so no pics of the loot. will take some tomorrow huge thanks to Tony for hooking me up with the seller, and thanks to the seller, Cruisin..! thanks for your time

won some Ebay seats, they are blue STI like these pictured here what was uncanny was, after i fitted them, i noticed, when driving her at night over the weekend, the interior lights are all done in blue leds..lol, hadnt planned that also got the identical head unit and speakers as V1 Nerfroster fitted on friday wont post pics of it, as they are the same as earlier in the thread taking her for a spin out to Tony and John at MTQ http://www.mtqes.com.au/ to get them to give her the once over, give me some tips on what it needs, etc as Tony owns one of these and knows his sht. so, now i am looking for JDM tail lights, and if anyone is interested, i may consider trading(straight swap) my GT bonnet for a GC std green bonnet for the sleeper look thanks for your time
