I would think your right, with the clutch. I had the same problem once. the clutch was so worn the brass pins where rubbing and chatching. I replaced the clutch and flywheel. as for the clunk on the rear, it could be so many things. I had a clunk that came from my pan hard rod The best thing to do is jack up the ass end and move stuff by hand and see if you can id the problem. Chris

I had to replace the water pump (cost me $68) so running tally is $268. and it's gonna need a new battary, so add about 65ish so for abit over $500 it will be good to drive as a daily. I'm gonna drive it to geraldton on next week, get this, it has: New radator New charging system New ball joints Great tyres newish leads and plugs The oil is even good (not thin or overly black) Dudes this car is one of the best I have had!!!! Some one loved this car ones. I don't want my mate to have it any more :) Chris

hiya boys, I just got this baby the other day. I was thinking about a parts car but she runs nice and is in great nick. btw all i have to do is pay the rego and away we go. it is a 1982 RA60 celica. The poeple I got it off said "it would not start" (it had a flat battery) $200 a mate of mine is already too buy it off me. how much do you think it's worth??? Chris

if you want, I can help you out. bring the car to me and i'll swap the box and thrust bearing. if you want to save a shit load of money any way I rang auto one kalamunda, and you can get the set for $102. That is thrust bearing, pressure plate and clutch plate. Chris

We have two options: If we want our own day, I have to pay a $400 deposit (non refundable) and we have to pay a total $800 even if 2 people show up. That is a maximum of 10 people. hiya, I have an ke70 late model. I had standard seats and it was cramped, but the ae71 spirit seats are much better (for me any way). they are much lower and go back more. Is the early model an auto? I have found the odd ball bearing steering in autos. would make a world of diffrents. Chris
