AAAAARRRRRRRR, boyz life just stuck it in an snapped the mother off. I was thinking the same thing, what is the licker for? It is a small world, if you talk to some one you'll fine they know some one who owned your car or at leased had 5 of the same model and has had there eye on yours for months. Dan the ae86 4age is a EFI, so you don't watch Initial D? The adm ae86 was only a 4ac, "as if" and most are converted now anyway. Well Dan, we have to get you a road worthy rolla. Took the winky for good run today, The engine has magical regained some power, but the cooling system is not working now. Temp got to about 5/8 on the gauge (far to high for a rolla) and the thermo fans did not start. fuse was fine. I did the computer diagnosis trick, but the computer only flashed no fault (single flash, single flash) so i'll move on to sparks as manual says too.

So my cheap rolla ain't cheap no more, do#h well I'll start at the beginning and work till I find it. I guess it will give a reason to buy some tools I'll have to do the cv joints too. thanks for to help boyz, big shout out to Trev for he help. Chris

my grey (underpower) injectors have 23250-14410 printed on them. but my red ones (normal) have 23250-16010 printed on. so it could be to small injectors, maybe.

Sorry but I'm new at efi and 4age's, if you could give me a run down that would be great I have got the engine manual, but i need to make or get the test equipment

hiya, I got a second 4age ae82 and it lacks power (my ke70 will keep up). I have looked at both and the only differences I can see are; Power steering Different injectors Aftermarket fuel filter Factory exhaust I guess all of these could put add up power lose, but to cut the power in half? The tivs was not working, but I fixed it. (vacuum leak). This made very little differents Stuff that I have not tried; Fuel pressure Timing Spark plugs compression Question; Does anyone have any other ideas why it could be so gutless? What colour are the standard injector (one has red and the other grey) I am going to service the engine. I was going to do; Timing cover seal and cam seals Timing belt Injectors Sparks plugs And of course oil change and that. hopefully I can find the problem soon, so any advise would be great Thanks Chris

My ke70 has a 4.1 and it is a 5 speed fitted from factory. The only time I has seen a 3.9 or 3.89 is in an AE71. I have a 4.5 borg in my ke20, I was going to put it behide my 4age in the ke70. should be fun for awhile Chris

what Liz failed to mention is that I would never pay someone to work on my car, tighter than a dolphin butt with my cash. I'm still coming in the ke70 on the cruise, I want to have her out on a cruise with the k series engine

Hiya Guys Liz here. Well Chris and I have just picked up our new TwinCam for my project. Sorry Preston and Todd I loved your cars so much I had to get one. LOL Chris says the Tivs system isn't working at the moment No torque till 5grand so he has named it Winky. Has a but of rust and needs a wheel alignment and the immobiliser don't work so with Chris's quick thinking a screwdriver, pliers and tape its all good now. Gotta love it, I would of called someone and paid for it but he is much better (Bias i know) I loved the Seaca but this one is much better. Am going to have fun doing it up Here are some pics Thats the extent of the rust. Looking forward to the cruise on Sunday. Liz

well, I thought I'd post it up here Dan, as this could help the story out. We have had a few meets; The first was at my house. (sorry about the mess again boyz) had five or six turn out. mostly a Fwd turn out. Did have a nice ke10 Hills to the sea, almost all 4a powered craft. The drive was nice but the chips where shite Personally I have bought several rollas and sold some. Got a corona for parts. go a 4age to put in my ke70 hey Dan did I have the ae71 parts car when you had your accident? if not I have had; Ae71 Ke36 wagon ke35 coupe Corona Rt 132 (brake up grad parts) Ae82 Seca (4age.daylie driver about to be "harvested") Ae82 hatch (4age) Apart from some new members, not much has changed in WA Maybe you could tell us what happened to you? The t18 is a pushrod, ohv, but is was the only one that was not fwd 4a. so close enough

I don't have an alarm or working door locks for that matter. (in the cold they freeze up) I'm jealous of having windows that don't leak :party: and wind up all the way. sorry Damo, your car is much nicer than mine. golf stand for "Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden". lol, kids are not Gentlemen. So you don't have worry about it, plus I curse a lot at traffic.
