  1. Every thing that I hear about solex's is that brake very easy, and where out even quicker than a rear right hand tyre. Aparently they rattle "even new one" and damage inturnel parts
  2. Ok, I was talking to some random customer and this was his idea on my under steer. "I'm a shit driver with a shit car :)" his said that his charger did something like this too. it was coursed by braking into the corner and then accelerating hard. The idea was that the front end dips on braking and on accelerating the front end lifts. This make the front end light for a second and makes the front end slip. He told me to get a different car, the problem is the engine in the middle of the front wheels. Putting to much weight at the front and making this problem worse. Most well handling cars have the wheels in front of the engine. Chris
  3. I have bridgestone 165/65 r13. "if you ring toyota this is the tyre they will recomend you use" when i feel the under steer I turn the wheel more and then it will just start to "lift" Q1 I have king springs progesive lowered and monroe gt front and rear. Q2 it feels like my front wheel drive car under steering Q3 see picture as rough guide, "as i put the boot in" Q4 ummm the wheel will pull against me (you know if you let the wheel go it want to straghten, it wants to go the other way) Q5 see picture also as for the wet it will under steer into the corner and over steer out hope this is enough info p.s. i don't mind being called a lier, if you are speaking from the heart ;)
  4. how fast are you going on this pic? mine will do it on high speed corners. eg: coming off the highway on to a slip road or fast wide taffic lights. I get a funny feeling though the steering wheel when is on two wheels. hard to explane the feeling just "weird"
  5. my ke70 would always lift the rear tyre (with body roll) with standard springs, but with king progesive lowered both front and rear lift. I get about 2" of body roll after that two wheels. I was told by some friends that follewed me home that "I got about 6" off the ground" the first car I saw on two wheels was a gemi going hard in my hood
  6. hiya, boyz and girlz. I was driving home from work and guned it to make a green turning arrow, and I felt the usuale two wheels coming off the ground for a bit coupled with under steer that my car has. now my car is lowered, apart from that it is a standary ke70. At speed my car will get up on two wheels often "if it is not under steering" in the wet it will do both. so to my question. how do your rollas compair? is the normal?
  7. hi boyz and girlz, I have got a bit of a weber carby hored going. I have got 40 dcoe, 32/36 X 2 and a 34/34dms. I am looking to put one on my standard 4k engine, any one jetted one up for this before? p.s. i can use google. I riped this super jamie's web site (top guy) A Weber 32/36 DGV is the most common aftermarket downdraft around. Usually you'll need to jet down a carburettor like this, unless someone has already done the work for you, or you have a fairly modified engine. For a 3K/4K, start at around 130 mains, 170 air jets, 50 idle and take it from there. Basic tuning tips: If the car "stumbles" forward but revs eventually climb, you're running too rich. If the car just cuts and dies, you're running too lean. i'll post up some pics if any one is intrested. chris
  8. pray it's not the valves, i know some one how can rebiuld it for you at a cost for $700. but if some one put the head on with it on top dead centre, with the cams still in you'll bend them hella easy. even if the head was on and the cams are in and you roll the engine over it will F**k them. 2tg's are easy to kill heads Sorry Chris p.s. valves http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-Stainle...sspagenameZWDVW
