it depends on what you want. we have a few bits and pieces laying about. there is a ok place in bayswater called Toyota bits or something along those lines. we used to go to pick a part in kenwick but they shut their doors quiet some time ago. another great place is the Quokka. put a add in every monday on what ya need and 90% of the time you get people ringing you with it. thats how Chris and I get our stuff. atm, I'm trying to rebuild a 3tgte. most shops in Australia tell me that the 3tgte does not exist! If you want a cheapish easy build, get a 4age. gotta thank "Initial D" for something.

hiya boys, I was hoping some one could clear this up for me. I had my 4a block acid dipped and bored ready for it's rebuild and was told by my father in law that, if i have a engine block acid dipped that i have to replace all the core plugs and any non ferrous metals parts that might be on it. (he is a yardy and has given me heaps of bum steers) I was thinking about replacing them any way, but I wanted to know is: Does the core plug "NEED" to be replaced, is it "just in case" or while it's out do every thing you can. And that is the motor I bought??? good thing i replaced all the oil seals then.

my AE82 drops about .5 L a week. It smokes every time I stop at the lights (oil on the exhaust manifold). I need to replace the dizzy oil seal (and every other oil seal). any one else have a oil problem?
