hey guys i may as well add to this and show progress to the car I'm doing.. ive been asking alot of questions and il show what i have so far.. cheers. at the moment its stock as a rock minus the gauges ive installed ready, but getting some parts lined up so it will be game on when the roady is cleared!!! bloody vic roads... but plan on building it for weekends and street.. but i don't want it to be a daily driver, just a fun car, considered a ca18det but at the end of the day i just couldnt afford it and I'm not the sort of person to leave something sitting around doing nothing... its a 1974 ke25 coupe, mustard yellow in colour with the standard 3k engine with a whopping 2 speed auto... plans for her are, a supercharged 5k motor with a manual behind her with an upgraded diff running lsd and diff gears for fun not top end.. lowered suspension extractors, exhaust, cam, carby, and all that shit to go with it.. I'm prefering to keep it looking fairly granny wise on the outside and in, just so it wont look like I'm up to much and can have fun.. feel free to comment anything, suggestions and performance help for building my 5k. cheers ash

decided to drop 2 inch around for time being.. just front springs i can get that are 2 inch and the blocks 2 inch for what i can afford. will be done once roady is done, then ill be ripping out the motor and re spraying the engine bay, and getting the new 5k and charger ready, and have the motor as clean as i can get her for a k motor.. she is looking a bit worse for ware at the moment lol... what sort of box is best used for the carby when i do the charger, i noticed some people have some big black ones for there blow through systems on the turbos.. are they custom or not?

Yeah man I know.. But I will eventually be tricking her with a ca18det so it will have to be done one day.. I would just like to keep the same wheels on her for that sleeper/granny look.. And not really too keen on welding the diff.. And I would like to do the diff gears so I won't have a vet high top speed but will be fun for what I want,

To start it off New diff.. I would like a LSD diff to suit my car as I have a 5k supercharger with a manual going in it.. I would also like to do the diff gears .. But!! Keep stock wheels* on it ( same as front) so hubs and stud patterns..

Cheers man, but would my brakes and all fit? I just spent a fortune chasing down new, calipers , backing plates and discs fOr the roady..along with strut inserts... So yeah I think I have done my self in lol

Cheers guys, I don't want to go all out with rims, just something to suit the age and style so it doesn't look new but keep the 74 look.. Considering a diff change, so I can have a LSD and do the diff gears.. What would I use for that?? Cheers

Cheers guys I would love for it to have the top of the guards flush with top of tyre lol.. But don't thing that will happen.. But by the sounds of it I can only really Dump the front 50ish mm I was hoping for 80mm with measuring it.. But yeah it will ride like shit.. The rear I only want 40-50mm so that's no drama I know how to play with the leefs and that.. Cheers for the help

Hey guys, Only found some king springs to suit the ke25 but I want to lower the front about 80-90mm and the rear about 40-50mm which I can use blocks for, but the front springs I've found and tracked down are only 35-4mm lower.. What's my best options for this.. I don't want to cut the springs or any of that.. What are my best options? Located in Hastings in Vic, so even if u suggest places to go?

Hey guys, Finally sorted all discs, calipers, rotors, pads and hoses.. But my master cylinder has decided to die and is leaking internally.. Not surprised by it tho.. Have considered a booster for it coz of new motor and charger going in, what are your thoughts. Hey guys put the car all back together tonight, and the master cylinder has crapped it self when trying to bleed the breaks,, need one ASAP for a 74 ke 25 coupe, but am I better off just chasing up one of them or boosting it? Also my high beam switch for some reason doesn't work. u flick the lever and it flicks to high for a split second but stays on low beam, and there doesn't seem to be any high beam.. It's very strange, and I'm stuffed for ideas... Cheers just after opinions.. Asap

I'm in Vic but yeah I guess it could come From anywhere.. The 25 is crap on breaks so going to put a booster in amd should help with new motor and charger

Hey guys I know so Wine posted it up before for Me, but I can't find it anywhere.. My bad. After a break booster for my ke25 coupe.. It was an aftermarket one for like $400 new rrp. But if someone could please re post it.. And also suggestions that will suit. Cheers in advance.

hey mate no they didnt, i got them machined down from 218mm down to 205mm i think it was, literally just fitted it all up today, and got it all going,, bit of a pain and expensive so far but... finally almost going now... hopefully it keeps the mechanic happy and the roady is passed..
