Hey guys brought discs from burdens told them all details I had. But the discs we got the off set is too deep and doesn't sit and rubs.. Heading back tomorrow.. Is this going to be a headache for me? And springs to lower front. Who's best to see passers don't have any in Australia. And just using blocks in the rear. Cheers

If its the same size engine bay as a ke25 it will fit and I have seen it In one. In Vic u can engineer it non turbo or another option is a ca18 turbo engineered

But yeah I really am interested in doing her up so I am keen and all questions are genuine and serious not time wasting

Hey guys I'm a real noob at these corollas.. Use to work on the eh/hq Holden's and recently came across this ke25 coupe and couldnt say no.. I've been undecided on a few things, but getting firmer ground now.. I'm saving for a ca18 turbo with a manual, and keeping it sleeper. For the time being, re doing pretty much all the rubbers and misc pieces I can, new brakes, break hoses, hoses, suspension, bla bla bla.. But it's got a 3k with only 60k on it.. Don't care about keeping it original. U only live once so live it up.. But thinking of doing a manual conversion on the 3 k for now amd dumping it on its ass lol.. After a break booster that will suit it too.. I've tried look for posts and I don't really understand it lol.Mates helping are mechanics, so might have more of an idea,, but even if cars that I can rip shit off at wreckers that will work will help.. Lol amd is it poss to turbo it and have it fine for a weekender? Found out can engineer a sr20 non turbo or a ca18 turbo.. As I want it legit.. But due to funds not there now I can't afford that option lol Cheers guys

Hey guys been a while, slowly getting work started on the car, been a few issues stopping me lately, but finally getting there.. I was planning on a ca18det turbo for the rolls but due to not that much funds anymore those plans have been put on the shelf for a while.. I have read about 4k and 5k motors.. And was wondering if I could get some info from u guys on them and how I go about it, I know It must be annoying getting questions like these but I am genuine in doing what I'm set out to do and not out to waste anyone's time.. And I love turbos... Haha how do I go about it for that side of things.. And tranny set up? Can I keep the 2 speed from the 3k motor in it Or do I need to upgrade that too?? If so how easy is a manual change over? Engine mounts? Where the hell do I source the motor/box? Cheers guys I'm hoping to get this done real soon too

thanks heaps guys.. will be making the clls tomorrow and heading to see people also.. just want the ca in my name so i can start getting the things done that i really want to do. with the struts it just says on the roady form "front struts leaking" but yeah I'm pretty sure the super mechanic means inserts... :/ cheers guys. its funny the things they pick up on... even though they know its going to be stripped down as soon as its done...

Mine were too thin apparently eBay only has only ke20 or 30.. Would the ke 20 rotors fit?? They r 4 stud pattern also? And suit up to 74 and mine is a 74??

My ke25 coupe is a import mod so yeah I don't know if people are just lazy and can't be bothered looking for it but I'm not sure. Just a real headache.

hey guys I'm in the process of getting a roadie done for the 74 ke 25 coupe. the mechanic wants new struts in the front front pads front rotors rearshoes break lines windscreen idol arm bushes i have been to auto pro, bursons, and repco.. so far the staff have been lazy as and do not want to help me and I'm finding it hard to get these parts.. can someone please help put me in the right direction on where to go.. cheers guys I'm located in frankston area. cheers

Hey guys going for the ca18det turbo.. With an auto to suit. Just have to find one now looking for a front cut of one so it's all there.. And went for a spin in a datto that's got one in it and far out!!! The thing was a weapon and was a stock turbo motor! So Defs going for that. And like said it can be engineered.. Just need to find break booster to suit and front strut and break set up that will fit.. Any suggestions would be great.. I am new to forums and don't really know my way around much lol.. And what cars are similar with inter changeable parts to a ke25? Thanks ash

Hey guys been a bit busy as of late.. Decided to go with a ca18det turbo motor with an auto.. Pretty straight forward fit and can be engineered here in Vic with the new power to weight.. And have found a mechanic shop that do a lot of this kinda work close by that I get along with quite well.. Now I just need to find myself the motor and auto pref a front cut so I have everything there and makes life easy .. But I don't know where to start looking lol cheers

No Kiddin! Never knew that so would I be better off looking at a ca18? Or something.. I don't really know much about these types mainly worked with 202 and 308 motors lol.. Yeah mate that's unreal.. At the moment I'll just be kicking around with it stick as a rock till I figure out what to do.. As I want it engineered so it's all legit.. Over having to do everything over and over.. Hey guys just after some advice. Been told that a sr20 is too big to fit a ke25 coupe? I have no idea as I haven't ventured down this path before.. What will work and what will fit?? Don't want to do firewall mods and all that and don't want to be spending over the top amounts. Cheers guys. I'm still learning Bout all this so I don't mea to sound retarted haha.

I know what u mean man, I had to bite my tongue when the old man convinced me to keep the eh stock.. I want so Something I can play with and have fun lol.. But I have been told that a sr20 won't fit I to a ke25 coupe?? Is this true as I want to avoid cutting into the firewall. Like I said I'm new to this side of modifieing cars.. What other options are available for an engine upgrade of so? Cheers

hey all hows it goin? first post on here, found u guys after searching the net looking for things for my new car. i just recently purchased a 1974 corolla 2 door coupe ke25. 1200cc with an auto. it has 54k on it and still running all original gear, with only a few minor dints in body with no rust. purchased the car from my mates parents when there gran passed wich she used once a week. been reading over quite a few of the posts here and it beeen heaps of help for me, but I'm still pretty stuck on how to do anything or where i would start and look for bits n pieces. never done anything like what I'm about to try. with the help of a coouple of mechanic mates. i have done up old kingswoods before so i have half an idea of what to do. lol. been looking at what mods i can be doing and so far the stand out for me has been to run a SR20 in the car with an auto. hoping to run boost also, been told to go for a hilux diff, from a couple of people but after help. with up grading suspension and breaks. looking at keeping it a sleeper and all orig from outside look. after some advice on where i should be looking at finding all the necessary advice and what places i should be visiting to get the ball rolling and what sort of coin i should be looking at. I'm located in frankston in vic also. any advice is appreciated. cheers ash
