Prefarably a new stone tray, and a raditor support middle peice that bolts off with the bonnet latch/cock.

I found that my corolla had a worn steering box, something to do with the worm.
I got it reconditioned, (thanks to my old man)
And put new ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm.
It drives perfect, steering is light as, (steering wheel is a bit flimsy)
What are the differences in tailshafts between say a ke11 and a ke55
I have put a ke55 5spd in my corolla and I'm finding that the tailshaft does not match up.
is a ke55 same length?
and will it bolt up to my diff?

I don't mind cutting, just thought I read somewhere that it would line up in the original position.
I am sure I have KE55, please read above and repost, I am more inclined to believe Felix.

Alrite.
So I recently picked up what I thought to be a "ke55 5spd"
Its definately a 5spd, I have rebuilt it, new bearings etc.
It was fitted up today, and shifter hole is about 6 inches back from original spot.
Anyway, is this becuase its a Ke70 box? Perhaps? :D
Or Is it simply a ke55 box and this is the best that it will fit?
I don't really wanna have to cut my baby :lol:

I can vouch for the GT Radials,
With Ke20 Front brakes, 1300 Master Cylinder.
All new suspesion, tie rods, ball joints, bushes etc
