Haha, haven't taken any yet. I need to repaint the block, side plate and rocker cover - the paint looks pretty daggy! If people could throw me colour ideas would be great, I'm thinking original coloured rocker cover, gloss black block?

Haha yeah she was on Gumtree for a while so I snapped it up! Had a day off work today so the degreaser and toothbrush came out. pretty damn clean 12R now haha

His second drag meet a couple of weeks ago in adelaide :) ran 5 13.1's in a row. Shift light wasn't on at the end of the strip, he's only running 3.5 gears, gonna get 3 9's soon so should crack the 12s!

Thanks! The dash pad is starting to lift from the dashboard a little in the corners though :( Dads Camaro is pretty cool - recently finished after an 11 odd year build!

Done! The AMAZING interior! - Needs a vacuum! The power house! I still have the original filter housing, wasn't a fan though! Old grill above the one I got from U Pull It and painted annnnd a quick photo my dad took in my work car park today, his candy apple red 1967 Camaro with my baby :)

Headlight wiring upgrade? As in just replace the original wiring with some thicker stuff?

Thanks man, she gets a bit of attention which I'm trying to get used to! Had a cop talk to me for like ten minutes at my local servo yesterday, first time in a while I've talked to a police officer without getting a fine haha. Was having a few issues with my headlights, turned out they were just really shit quality semi sealed beams. Picked up some new decent sealed beams and she's problem free for now!

What a little beast! You should hold onto her! They kinda look like a squashed up version of my car so I'm a little biased. But it has epic potential. Good work!

Hey guys, I picked up this beast a few weeks ago, she's a 1973 Corona, 4 speed manual with the 12R motor. When I bought her she was similar to these pictures, the paintwork was pretty neglected and dull but has come up nearly perfect with some love, I have also smashed some Whitewalls on and have just bought a new grill today (not yet fitted). She has 108xxx miles on her and is all original apart from being lowered, perfect interior and a sweet little thing to cruise in. Toying with the idea of keeping her original or doing some kind of weber conversion etc on her - feel free to give me your opinions!! I'm on my iPhone at the moment, but will put up some more pictures when I get to my laptop :) Cheers!

What a little beast! Looks sweet mate, I just got an RT81 with the 12R motor, will start a cute little thread soon. Good work with the carbies, great idea.
