Thanks guys, I think I'll try soapy water just to play it safe :) I went on Jafs end of year cruise on Saturday, it's pretty much SA's largest cruise held once a year. A photographer got this awesome picture of my car! :)

Lol. Thanks man il keep hunting. I need to clean the oily stuff from the factory off these new ones but don't know what's safest to use. I was thinking wax and grease remover cos it's a bit sticky and thick, but dunno how safe that is on chrome.

Never been but keen as. How perfect does a car have to be to enter? Haha

Merry Christmas guys, hope you all have a good new year too. My dad did surprisingly well for me this Xmas, check my ride thread ;)

My dad is a legend and heard me whinging when I saw these on eBay. He bought them for me for Christmas! 40 years old, NOS. never been opened and not a mark on them :) gonna feel bad putting them on. I would like to get a really good set of the dress rings that go behind them, mine are decent, but would be good to find a really straight set. Any ideas? Here's a picture of the dress rings I'm after:

Not much happening at all lately, just small things while works crazy. Fixed a really annoying interior rattle today, amazing how much better it feels to drive when it's dead quiet haha.

Mmmm I only go there for small things now haha. Everything else I just get new through work and suck it up. Biggest rat I've ever seen though! And they seem to be filling the yard a bit more now.

New stuff been put in Lonsdale, 2 ke55's, one rusted out ke38 with a dead rat in the drivers footwell and a neat baby blue flat front. :)

Ours went down to like 20c when we got rid of them. Still not sure if I'd pay that haha. As long as your not after function ;)

Some people call them spoilers, others call them wind deflectors. We used to sell them at work but got rid of them a couple of years ago :)
