  1. Where are you measuring from to get the numbers 2mm? Edge of the rim? I did my alignment with string lines and jut set the toe to zero. How will I benefit from more toe out?
  2. Yeh sweet that's exactly what I'm after. Spewing about the price. That's almost a days work haha
  3. my boss has an off road buggy and his turn brake has two master cylinders on for left rear the other right rear. push for left pull for right. it does work fine for him but when i looked at the positioning of my hydro and shifter and still retain factory h/brake i figured pull with it to the left of the shifter. i just need a longer shifter now so its more comfy going from shift to lock up.. i need a dildo shifter with out the clear bubbly light up grossness. haha i looked on fleabay for a long steel shift knob but they don't seem to be out there.
  4. all plumbed up :) how come you chose to go push and not pull? i looked at setting it up push but figured pull would be easier.
  5. by the sounds of it you have a similar exhaust set up to my ke70. 4 to 1 extractors a hotdog style resinator then a straight through sports muffler. at tafe we did a stationary noise emission test on our cars. i can tell you that at 3000rpm 1.5 mtres away at a 45 degree angle from the outlet of the ehaust. mine was 91 dba, i do only have a 4k-c though. if you have a flange at the back i'd make up a section with a proper baffle if your that worried. what will happen if your car is too loud?
  6. yeh i plumbed it up yesterday. it is balling. ill try post some pics up today
  7. i had a spare for my landrover and was not a member of this forum or any forum to be spoon fed any thing so i worked it out for myself and had a go.. its not the place for bickering and i wouldn't recommend the cut and shut deal unless you were a mechanic i just answered the question has anyone done this... I guess its a hard life out on the forums. buy the kit everyones recommending.. unless your adventurous and don't mind losing your vacuum advance and having to do it all over again if the module fails... if my module went id get the recommended kit that i am now aware of..
  8. Pictures! also as you can see I've locked the vacuum advance... this is to compensate the fact my 4k corolla is a race can and always at full throttle... and the positioning of the module wouldn't allow the room.
  9. New to the whole forum deal but i figured its time to go public with the keto. It's been in the build for a year now. A daily drive, a weekend warrior and a drift toy... The ideal car right? A 1983 silver flat front ke70 that was given to our family for my sister and i to learn how to drive. So far i have fitted a set of autometre gauges (coolant temp, oil pressure and a tacho), Fuel cell and holly blue fuel pump, upgraded fuel lines to handle efi later... maybe, twin 45mm DCOE webber carbies, electronic egnition upgrade, CIG locked diff, TRD adjustable rear shocks, OXY springs, Ebay special hydraulic E-brake (yet to be plumbed up) Pictures to follow at a later date.
  10. sorry these are the only pics i have on my computer of my boat
  11. awsome! i built a boat very similarto this for my HSC major work. got to the part where i had o do the rigging and i don't sale so i didnt know how to go about it. any tips?
  12. exedy does do standard oem, heavy duty and button with torsion spring centre. part no's standard TYK-6036 heavy duty TYK-6036HD button TYK-6036HDB i have a button in my ke70 it was $350 and i have a dodgy mechanic's knee and it is not heavy or hard to press down like what you find in old falcons with one tonne clutches. its just like driving with a standard except the jolty take off. oh and you can find the details on the exedy website just go to the clutch finder.
  13. I used a hotspark module designed for a land rover. i had to drill and "cut 'n' shut" the mounting plate for it and modify the trigger wheel that goes over the breaker points cam with a bit of quick bond. i can post some pics up if anyone is interested.
