hey mate, I'm very keen on getting my flywheel and cam grinded, i pulled a flywheel off a 3k the other day and it was 6.9kg but it hasnt been machined at all... does this mean i can get it machined down even more?? i was hoping for something like 5.4kg??? cheers, haydn

for sale: a 1966 corona white with red interior, its an RT40 , it atually goes kind of quick with the 2r engine which is a 4cylinder 1490 cc engine!!!! ;) its also a 4speed column shift. dosnt use any water or oil, and petrol last forever. drives sweet. :my plan was to get the rust fixed and resprayed gloss white all over, get interior retrimed, lower it pimp it, vanetians ,whitewalls ect. but i ant be bothered now as i want to focus on my wagon, so i have fixed all of the main rust and it basically just needs to be sanded back and sprayed. these cars are gettin pretty rare, for a 43 year old car id say its in pretty good condition. hey guys an girls, i am going to drop my flywheel off to get lightned tomoro but i don't no what to get it machined down to?? its going on a slightly worked 5k, so what kind of weight do i want to go down to so it will rev pretty high but still drive kind of nice...? i weighed the flywheel that i got out of a 3k engine and it was around 6.90kg i reckon, so what would i get it down to like 5 or 6kg???? let me no asap. haydn.

hey all I'm trying to pull the camshaft out of a 3k engine but I'm having a bit of trouble.. anyone no how to get these suckers out??? iv basically stripped the engine and pulled the head off an the block apart but still can't get it out...?

so are you saying that only 4door ke20 doors will fit ke26 wagons??? so i can't put a 2door ke20 door on the front of a 4door ke26 wags??? iv heard people say you can an then iv heard that you can't,....? haydn

ok ill take that into account. ye i have thought about efi... whats the advantages of this?? are you saying that a pair of su's on a 7k would be just about the same as a 7k efi??? ye iv heard that mechanics don't like them iv had alot of people say that twin carbies are really really hard to tune and always go out of tune...? is this true??? i would of thought you could get them tuned and then if done right they should just stay intune ey?? ok, sidedraughts ey..? so your using sidedraught dellortos? also what type of cam are you using???
