walls ke70

Hay guys u prob get asked this qestion alot but I'm thinking of building up my 4k a bit!! i was gonna put a 3k head on and get a cam ground anyone got any good specs on a good cam grind? I was also gonna rebuild it an put some good pistions an bits in it but don't really know wats out there!! So just want to know what setups people have used an what it has cost ruffly i would be doing all the work my self! Iv already got twin su's on a manifoild and extrctors!! also would it be silly to ask 4 a 20 to 30kw gain at the wheels out of it over standed?? Cheers guys any help would be fantastic!! Steve

hay mate i looked at doing the same thing to my ke70 a while back!! an i found that cause of the twin carb set up the back carbie hits on the brake booster/master!! thses motors are soooo fukn heavy took me an 3 of my dads mates to lift one with a box on it!!

i was there but in in my white xr8 as my ke70 is out of rego!! cruz wasnt to bad tho but i had to bail out at the first stop!! GAY!! disapointed didnt really see to meny rollas!!

hay all!! KE70 wagon!! MOTOR 4k with twin hs4 su's! at the moment I'm in the middle of putting a sc14, exstrators , better fuel set up an electronic ignition! SUSPENSION FRONT AJPS coilovers,AGX dampner ajusting inserts, 8kg springs, rose jointed lower control arms to ajust camber 24mm front sway bar REAR reset leaf springs lowered 2 half inchers kyb excel g shocks BRAKES T18 cross drilled an slotted rotors 231mm WHEELS no idea what they are called but there fat 14x7 with bridgestone g3 185/60/14 these pic are before i finished off the rear srings its a little rased!!

i would luv to come out in my KE70 wagon but it runs out of rego on the 10th an then comes off the road for a while to do supercharged efi!! is werth putting 3 month rego on it for 1 day? if not ill bring my manual XR8!!

Hay guys just wanted to know if any of U have mounted a SC14 on a 4K using the standed 4K aircon bracket? just need to know what part on the bracket i need to mod to get it on there an how to do it! any help would be great thanks guys!! CHEERS STEVE!!

put a 4WD chassie from a land cruser under it 8 inch lift 350 chev 35x12.5 miky tommsons!! U will never have trubble it traffic again! oh yeah an a step ladder to get in to it :lolcry:

not really havnt put them next to each other to really compare them as one is still at work an one is on my sedan in my shed an i have nothing to mesher it with as my toolbox with my tools is at work! just wanted to know if anyone knew!!

Hay guy just wanted to know if there is any diffrence between the front swaybar on the KE70 sedan and KE70 wagon? The reson i am asking is cause iv just changed my swaybar in my wagon to a 24mm an i thort i would mesher the old one just to see how big it was 22mm i meshed it with verneres! anyway today i was messing around with my sedan an the stock swaybar looks a heap smaller an the stock wagon one?? are my eyes playing tricks on me?? cheers steve SORRY ABOUT SPELLING

yeah sorry its a sc14!! and its to adapt it to run on the 4k Cheers Steve cheers man i will have to look in to that!! did you have to change all your pullys to suit the flat belt? if not howd ya get around that cause your altenator would still be a V belt? Hay guys i was just wanting to know what model falcon springs ya put in KE70? an how many coils I have to cut off to get the car down about 1 an half/ 2 inchers? Also correct me if I'm rong but by cuttin springs dosnt that defeat the purpose of trying to make to car handle?

yeah I think ill be checking alot more that just earths!! u should see what it did to all the wiring! it basicly melted right though the starter wire :)

it hit on the exhaust an inlet but still long way to fall!! Just lucky i pushed the wagon back cause 1 min later an bye bye frontend!!

Oh year turns out what happend was when i put the positive wire from batt to the starter the little thing on the end of the wire that bolts on the starter arked an welded its self to the exhaust manifold!! Oh yeah almost forgot my old 4k fell about 4 feet off the block an takle an took a large chunk out of shed floor but no damage to the 4k!! as if I'm not a hell dogie back yard mechanic!!!!!!!!!! :)

Hay guys the nuts thing happened to me today!! i finally got off my fat ass and put a motor in my 70 wagon!! Anyways got it all in there an running pretty easy only took about 5 hours to do complete change over!! once it was running for about 5 mins i turned it off started packing up my tools to notice that there was smoke pouring out of the engine!! HOLLY f@$k!! I thought as i ran to see that the positive going from the batt to the starter was melting an every other wire around it!! There was so much smoke my hole shed duched in like seconds!! I couldn't get the positive clamp off the batt cause i did it up so i had to cut the positive wire with some plyers!! Ill try to get some pics up if i can figure out how to do it

Thanks for the help guys!! I think ill try to put them in the side panels!! U make a good point about the weight in the tailgate the gas struts bairly hold the thing up now let alone with the added weight!!Some pics would be great mate should sound tuff when ya put the sub in!! Cheers Steve

Hay guys just wanted to know if anyone has put any speakers into there Ke70 wagon?? Cause there really isnt really were that i can find to put them!! The door trims have them plastic little pockets on the bottem of them an i also tryed to put them in the tail gate but the dam windscreen wiper motor is in the way! :P The speakers that iv got to fit are 6/9's an 7 inch splits any help would be great thanks Steve

Why has no one said anything about pedders?? pedders stuff is really good!! ( Not just sayin that cause i work for them ) really kings are soooo gay soooo soft!! But if all U want is to make your look low an cool by all means go kings!!
