so if there a trimatic they will have no probs handling the power of a 4agte. depends how much power u have i got 200 atw i don't think that will hold

well i pulled my one out of a ae71 4a and the tag says borg warner on it which is a trimatic

thay are trimatics if you get the right stall it mite take a few shots it shouldn't be a slug

my t50 last about 2 years behind my 200rwkw 4agte and i raced at calder aswell i blew it by down shifting to quick, it was break the box or hit the truck.

99 per cent u will have to ive got one if u want to buy it

u don't have to change your crossmember as the 4age will bolt to the ae71. you will have to get a 8 bolt flexplate(flywheel) get one off a 4age bigport auto and your ae71 converter bolts to this, then its pretty easy after all that

went today to a mates workshop but forgot to ring the auto builder he knows. Hot day = Drinks

it came off a big port fwd that was auto I'm going tomorrow to a mates work shop to call some people that he knows that build autos see what they have to say, see if they can get there hands on some specs :P Spelling fairy says: Please take the effort to type T and O instead of 2. l33t speak will get you into trouble.

its a 8 bolt flexplate to bolt on my 8 bolt crank

already got the flexplate off a big port and converter that fits the flexplate and the auto. i have everything that is needed

well thats what i have read because its a borgwarner they are trimatics?

I've been told they should hold around 200 to 250 rwhp as they were behind six cylinder cars aswell. I'm in the process of getting one built but the guys gone over seas for a couple of months, i've got another standard one might just put in and dial the boost down for now.

the k series autos are trimatics. Not to sure but the 4a auto is a a40, thats the info i have

done a search but can't find much just wondering if any one can point me in the right direction, just want to find specs on the converter and the box and how much power they can hold, looking for eithier a website or a workshop in vic that can help me out thanks in advanced tuff car, tuff dog

I'm running a 3 inch from turbo back, with turbos back pressure means nothing u don't need any

went today to get a gearbox for my 4 agte, the guy said he had one out of an ae71 but it was a 4 speed i saw the box and motor it was a 4a, has any heard of these and how strong and if i can use it and also if i would have to change clutch or tailshaft or anything?
