  1. I am wondering how the clutch fork attaches to the thrust bearing on my T 50 box. I think its done with clips. if so do i have to go genuine or is there som other type that can get us by. Thanks mundawg.
  2. fixed it was the resistor
  3. I asked the same thing about a month ago. Was pretty quiet topic. Ill tell you what i know: If you have ae86 coilovers for the front sick they will be sweet . (sigma controll arms don't bolt straight in they don't fit the crossmember, and you need longer tie rods for them to work.) Just buy some camber tops to suit your coilovers. if you want more camber than get carona LCA'S from spja. The 86 brakes and shit all works sweet. For the rear mate just get some KYB Excel g shockies from a commadore part number:VB-VN Holden Station wagon Ext: 490 Comp: Approx 290-300mm KYB Number: 343113. Then run some mildly stiff springs probly 5kg/mm on the rear. Avoid cutting springs if you can. Front and rear swaybars make a big difference.
  4. I am looking to make it more ridged and tighter i wana be able to enter some bends a little bit faster and decrese the amount of body roll. i wana spend about 800-1000 I all ready got some sprinter struts that came with rotors brakes and lca's I have some 14" mesh wheels to go on so i would like it to be fairly low. ( I don't realy want to have to cut some springs if i can get around it). Thanks I will also check out the FAQ
  5. Hello every body, I am just wondering what type of setup i should run i am a carpenter by trade so that dosent help me much with my car ( Maby with my parsel shelf or center consol ) I don't have a clue about what springs and shcks to run. All i have herd is use nolathane. So i have a KE70 soon to be 4age 16v. I have got some sprinter struts. When i opend them up to remove the stock oil shocks i found some pedders comfort gas shockies. Maby thats a bonus i don't know. I would just like to know what shocks, springs, others are running. Maby swaybars: if so how thick what brand. I don't mean to sound like a time waster. Just wan2 know from the people that know best.
  6. Thanks Medicine_Man, I was mainly not sure if thats where it was ment to go. When i got the motor that hole was pluged so i checked my mates motor and thats where his oil pressure switch is. His motor is in a FWD car and the motor i have is RWD. So thats why i thought maby i needed one that goes between the block and the filter or somthing. Cheers
  7. hey everyone. The time has come to put my 4age (blue and black top) into the ke70. Having a few issued with the oil pressure sender. Was wondering what type of sender i should run? I have a guage that came with a sender and not sure if that sender will work. do i need to run a sandwhich style unit. heres a few pics. any info at all would be great. cheers.
  8. Congrats on finding a overrated ksev. With $5 grand go with a 4age its a bolt fot bolt swap. You need: 4age T-50 box 4a series engine crossmember + engine mounts Gearbox crossmember from an ae71 ae71 tailshaft ae71 pedal box Cluch master and slave cylender + lines. There is plenty of info on this site on how to do this conversion. Open engine conversions, and find the step by step guide read it carefully. good luck with it hope this helps.
