  1. I certainly wouldn't mind more performance, and I'd assume if I do go down the after market route it will give me more headroom down the track if I decide to do cams etc? I know the 32/36s seem to be the common one used, but does anyone know much about the 32/34? I ask because there is one currently on ebay with an adapter plate that came off of a k motor.
  2. Hi guys, hope this is in the correct forum. Basically the 3k in my KE20 is getting pretty old and tired and with some help I'll be putting in a much fresher 4k. The 4k is stock and doesn't have a carb on it and the 0ne on my 3k is not in great working order and needs a rebuild. It's my understanding that the stock carbs aren't brilliant so I'm wondering if an aftermarket one would offer a better price to performance ratio? I have extractors and an exhaust system but no other engine mods, other than an adapter plate and then getting it properly tuned will I need to change/alter anything else in order to see a significant enough improvement over the standard carb? I'm not after anything earth-shattering, just improved pick up and more reliable start-up, Any insight would be much appreciated.
  3. So does anyone know whether the Kings superlow rear laser springs fit KE20s as well as KE30s?
  4. '73 Model. I've noticed those sports ryders as well, but I'm pretty certain they are only maybe an inch lower.
  5. Oh and should have specified, I'd rather not use an angle grinder, even though I don't have much money to throw around :)
  6. Hello guys, Just after some advice on lowering the front of my KE20. I want to lower it at least 2 inches, and I'm aware you can't buy actual Corolla ones that will do that. My brothers both lowered their KE30s with King springs for a Laser (KRML-23 I think the part was). Do these same springs fit a KE20 or no, and if not what are some of my other options? Thanks in advance.
  7. Yeah I saw that dash pad, thankfully mine is spotless ^^ I did however buy a brand new rear drivers side tail light assembly because mine has a small hole in the plastic :/
  8. lol thanks, ah well there's always next year :hmm:
  9. I saw that on ebay, wish it was one for a KE20 I would've been bidding hard!
  10. Hi guys, I joined ages ago I think but haven't been active. Started taking serious interest in my car again so thought I'd get more active on the forums. My name is Chase and I'm from Mooroolbark. The love of my life is Colonel Mustard, my KE20 Rolla.
  11. Yeah, I think I just may keep it stock :doublebird: I'd still love to have a KE20/25 I could do up, I live in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne so if anyone has or knows of any for sale (say under $1500) I'd be pretty keen to have a look. Also if anyone would like to come take a look at it you're quite welcome, I don't exactly have alot of friends these days :/
  12. Hey all, I'm new here, and thought I'd post a link to some pics of my KE20 I bought not long ago for you to enjoy. 1 old lady owner, 40,000 original miles. Only mods are KE25 steering wheel and new audio system. Thinking about possible engine upgrade but don't know much about that side of things, ie. ideal engine and price. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. http://www.members.iinet.net.au/~rjmckinno...lla%201973.html
