o m g anyone else a bit tender today? (and i'm not talking about egos :bash:) I have a nice faint blue crescent bruise the diameter of said soccer ball on my left thigh and some carpet burn haha, not to mention being sore in places i didn't realise could be sore! But in all seriousness, I think we did extremely well despite the abominable scoreboard. Given the fact that it was our first time playing with each other, and the fact that we're in division three, and the team we played last night are in Division One. Apparently one of them was ex-pro. Dude behind the counter reckons we'll go alright in our own division. Thanks to everyone who came along, I'm stoked that we got a team together in such a short amount of time!

I've heard Camberwell Markets on Sundays are pretty good... it's more toward crafts and bric a brac I think tho. One of my mates reckons she picks up some pretty good bargains on jeans and shoes there. Haven't been myself though so can't really say. It's in the car park out the back of the shops on the corner of Burke and Prospect Hill Rds.

i think we're allowed to rock up in whatever for our first two games or so, but we need to get uniforms. i'll be wearing my wife beater :) don't believe shin guards are compulsory, had not in fact considered them... check previous post for rules dude.

ALRIGHT! Our first game is at 7.40pm next Monday (10th Nov). It's at Action Indoor Sports, 9 Clarice Road Box Hill. We have to be there at least 10 mins before the game It's mainly to get our team sorted, we have to fill our player details and what not. Not sure whether they'll be grading us or they're just gonna chuck us in wherever they can. So I guess bring some monies, and some peoples for playing... |blink| We need a min 5 players every week to play, if we want to forfeit its 72 hours in advance. The dude put us down for Monday and Wednesday games, and we get a Sunday game every one in five games. hope to see you there! BOO YEH

Apparently they're already up to the fourth game of this season (!!!) which means they just finished their last grading game.
