got some new wheels at a bargain price. 15inch rs 8's

yeah the new box came with a thrust bearing thats the only thing i didnt check before puting it in. will drop box out again tomorrow and change thrust bearings and hopefully its all good!

sort of a whirring sound. i didnt replaced the fluid but i topped it up.

by throw out bearing do u mean thrust bearing??

i have just installed a 5 spd in my ke55 was 4 spd. started it up and is making a noise idleing in nuetral, noise goes when foot put on clutch. how can you tell if its a thrust bearing or bearing inside gearbox?

lowered my car today 50mm all round. and fitted a ke30 rear bar before after looks and drives better now. but the drivers side rear sits 20mm lower was like this before lowering will have to check out whats wrong with it.

might put some venetians in at it some stage. and some nice wide jap wheels eventually. yeah i have been thinking about the 7age. the engine is soooo much fun in a front wheel drive, so it would be great in this. but thats all time and money. I'm happy with the 4k 4spd atm.

its about time i did a new post on my new ke55. after a long search i have found one. its a 1980 ke55 I'm the second owner it ticked over 90,000km yesterday. the pictures will do most of the talking. it had a 5 bar grill but they look like poo so i put the ke30 one on and it looks 100 times better. the brown 30 is a thrash/parts car. blue 30 is my brothers.

the second time i drove my new ke55 some guy offered to buy it, he had a large wad of $100 bills and wanted to buy it then and there, i said no.

i might part out my ae102. so just seeing if there would be any interest in my 7age. the motor is 40,000ks old since full rebuild at a cost of $5000. specs should be on my for sale ad for my car. let me know if there is any interest i need it gone asap Cheers Josh

hi i went to the wreckers today to get a ke55 5 speed they have one but before i buy it i want to make sure its a 55 not a 70 box. so please post pictures of the difference in shifter position please

hi was wondering what other cars have the correct offset to suit a ke55, eg r31, s13, sigma, datsun,celica and also what is the widest tyre u can fit under standard ke55 gaurds? and what offset? because i go to all the mag wheels places and they look at me stupid when i say i want mags for a 1980 corolla lol

hi i bought a saas boss kit for my ke55 and it fitted the spline and everything good but the thread on the column wasnt long enough to put the nut on, anyone else had this problem? and what boss kit fits? at one autoparts shop they said there is a long and short shaft column in the corollas is this true?
