  1. I agree with the sentiment that all of the other guys have expressed, however...... The JDM sprinters had PS as an option, as did I beleive, the AW11's. These racks are the same/similar as the sprinter and KE70 ones. You would be on your own with the pump setup, but it couldn't be too hard. Cheers, Ian
  2. KE26 2 door wagon Beams blacktop and 6 speed 15" alloys Big brakes to go under them Nolathane bushes all round RA40 GT diff shortened to suit TE27 dash and console Retrim in grey velour A/C Stereo with 6's, 6x9's and single 12" sub with amps to suit tinted windows Painted in a nice subtle blue/green colour Cheers, Ian
  3. One of my mates who has a Falcon bolted a set of Scheel seats straight onto the stock rails in his car. If that works , then I guess that if I grabbed those seats they should bolt straight into my KE20. It sure opens up the choice of seats if they aren't too wide for the car. Cheers, Ian
  4. The ae112 that Toyota oz decided to turbo was then called a Sportivo. I beleive it was based on the oz Levin hatch.
  5. What was the difference in width between a TE27 and a KE20. I have bee offered a diff that i'm told is either from a TE27 or about a 74 Celica. I'm assuming from a GT. It has factory disc brakes. I'm trying to work out if it is worth putting in if I went to a 4age. I assume that if it is a TE27 one that it should bolt stright in, but a Celica one would need to be shortened (and mounts changed???) Ian.
  6. I wasn't sure if the boost in compression might make up for a slight lack of flow, not knowing how bad a standard 3K head was. The reason for doing up a 4K is that you need to engineer a 5K in NSW. I beleive that a 4K complies under the 15% increase in capacity as an owner certified modification. If I was going to spend the money on an engineers certificate, I would probably go all the way and fit a 4AGE or GZE. Plus fom what i have read, a 4K can be lent on to give respectable performance for not a huge outlay. Thanks for the replies, if a 5K dropped into my lap for the right price I might reconsider. Ian
  7. I have a standard KE20 at the moment, and am thinking of building up a 4K for it. I have read about 3K heads raising compression, but most people are talking about big port heads, is it worth using my standard head and tidying up the ports?

There you go, I haven't ever heard of a TE25. I always thought that any of the 25 shaped T engined cars were TE27's. I know about the Trueno's being TE27's, but I thought it applied to all of them.

It was over in the states, and it was definately a TE27, but just the single cam ones, not a Trueno or Levin.
  10. Sorry to hijack the thread, but will the same strut conversion fit into a ke20 if you use the ke20 strut tops?

This sounds like an awesome idea. I found someone in the states doing the same thing to a te27. http://www.geocities.com/cambo61/flea01.html This is the site. Ian.
