  2. if i wanted it to handle , id cut thru the fire wall ! better yet not use a cast iron 6 cyl ... if the car does any track work , it will be drift and drag , ittl be taily as all fk which is good ( i drift so don't argue ) like anything ill adapt to the cars habbits and so on ... woulda thought that people on this forum would hav a lil respect for something different .. but apparenly can't look past 4 cylinders and 15 " rims haha .. gary
  3. in reltation to the will an rb20 fit in a ke70 :P here is solid proof .. i picked up an rb for the right price .... and decided i wanted to build something different and magazine worthy , something to wow .. as there is nothing that i can possibly do to make my onevia unique i thought id rape my ke70 and so it has begun .. engine is just sitting in as of 10 am this morning .... engine out and rb in in 2 hours :cool: waiting to go to workshop to get some plate to make my engine mounts ... here are some rough pics .. looks like shit atm . but these giv u an idea of how they fit :lol: enjoi
  4. bumpp :P .. for those who remember the will a rb20 fit in a ke70 thread ... well iv decided thats what I'm doing with my ke ... .. at first it was to be a track / streeter ... but I'm now going to try for a magazine feature as the most modified ke70 !!!! i pick engine up this weekend ... should hav it in within 2-3 weeks .. stay tuned for pics !!

  6. err why not visit a diff shop !!!!! a grand will get u a unbreakable lock diff !!! and f u guys actually got some decent sized wheels and tires under these corollas understeer wouldnt be an issue !!! iv run a locked diff in my onevia forever .... no understeer in the wet ! 255 rears and 235s front but agreed with the drivbility .. it chirps when u turn and shudders ... but then so do decent 2 way mech diffs
  7. r32 skyline radiator champ !!!! i use one in my rb25 powered onevia and it copes on track days in summer !!!! that with 2 r32 thermos .. however , check out www.justjap.com.au theyre alloy rads to suit ca18det or rb20 (r32 ) should suit fine
  8. used to have 15s on it ... didnt care for them .. i got a shed full of different sized rims 17s look the best and i like my tires like elastic bands :yes:
  9. I USED TO HAVE ONE OF THEM BAHAHAHAHHAHA i turned the rear leaf springs up side down .. heated the front coils till they sagged ... and paddock thrashed it till we wrote it off :yes:
  10. hey man .. overrated ride .. ur setup is some what similar to what ill be running .. iv got to ask .. why such small rims ??? iv got a set of 17s for my ke and they still seem kinda small ... anyway man . looks like ur ke is the goods . I'm very impressed . who did the work ?

  14. haha some nice supportive comments right there hahaha iv seen a few cool wagons but agreed theyre hella ugly ... kyle from 6 boost performance has a low 10sec ke wagon , i think he may have even broke 9s of late ... prob one of the only ones iv liked ... good luck with the project mate ....... ke70 ute ????? nothin a grinder and some creative roll cage makin can stiffen up ..
  15. the rear bar is a pretty simple fit also , i bought a 2nd hand item to hack at first .... there are 2 ways it can be done either trim a v out of the top of the bar in either corner and glass it together , or cut it down the centre and remove about 5 cm if that off the width .. I'm yet to finish it , to be honest i havent really started as iv got 2 other cars i need to finish off first .. as for rivalry :) I'm up for it .. i dare say my ke will rival most in mechanical department ... I'm going to run ful s13 silvia front suspension .. and 5 stud conversion all round , iv looked into it and its totally doable ill do full write ups when I'm doing it / done so those who would like to can copy
  16. s13 skirts are a perfect fit ...only bits you have to trim is where they would go up the sides on an s13 , and the little dip in the door as the ke is 4 door . length wise they are and exact fit ....

  18. like i said this is what i built in school .... car will look nothin like this when I'm finished , it will house a full kit but a more agressive square sports style kit , it will be full jap spec drifter lookin , in a metallic burnt orange with heavy gold/orange metal flake I'm hoping to start work seriously on it in about a month or two , just need to get my onevia finished and sold before i start somethin new
  19. just to clear a few things up , i work specifically with nissans / rbs mostly , and sr and cas when i have to from what iv seen on this site i doubt very much that most of you would be looking to push the sr20 limits they are an excelent engine , and puting aside the rocker s .. as thats not the main issue the unreliability of the sr20 is derrived from poor servicing and the rough oil galleries from factory casting ,, sludge and deposits build up in them , when bad enough resulting in no oil up top and so on spinning bearings ect however i do prefer how the rb and ca are built , I'm an rb man myself but infortunantly in these cars its not really a functional option . if i were to go a 6 cyl in my ke it would be a 1jz as thery physically smaller than an rb and don't use some of the extra running shit rbs use , but because of the 2.5ltr capacity i don't think that registration is an option ..
  20. ]tru for some reason i pictured it to look somewhat like an ae86 coupe ... ill just keep it bn sport ke for now ... still don't get why no one else has kitted up one the s13 bodykit fits with minimal modification .... side skirts are the exact length , rear bar is 50mm too wide but can be fixed with some clever positioning and minor trimming havnet tried the front bar yet so soon to see ,

  22. yes , its a car I'm building for a customer ... its a one off bn blister kit s1580 full widebody s15 front 180sx ,, with pretty much every aftermarket suspension and driveline part u can think of ... also has full s15 interior :dance:
  23. thanks man ... haha i thik that if ever i put a car in one of those magazines id shoot myself .. my last onevia is in drift battle magazine but yeah .. so for the bonnet comments :dance: it looks good in person .... , iv just got a more aggressive one that will suit the shape of the new kit and body more heres a pic of it sitting on my onevia bonnet
  24. yeah , I'm only talkin of 2 examples i know of , they drift like shit , constantly loop ect . and yeah as u staded , the radiator has to be almost front mounted for the motor to fit ill see if i can dig up some pictures of the rb25 sprinter .. I'm sure some of the qldrs here have seen it on the rare occasion .. my mate pieter used to own it then sold it to some guy .. thats the only pic f the car i could find atm . ill see what bay shots are about
