some top secret info here, they cross reference to, wait for it 3F landcruiser. toyota part number is 13751-61020. on the epc under 5k's it doesn't list it but on the microfsche it list 2 lifters and 1 is solid. check it out.

next time you see us come over and make yourself known, we'll talk to anyone!! the t-shirts are from a toyota dealer here. paid enough for them. had some knock off one's and the quality was shit. i did see xnay's corolla and i think teddys corolla there as well. aways happy to see more that 1 corolla at an event.

i've seen this book years ago in NZ(about 1990). the gear ratio's we have in our spare box, but tony hates it for rally the 1st and 2nd is to tall but the rest are magic, good ratio's for the track. even has a trd reverse gear( have to grind the casing to fit it in). in 1988 it was $2500 for the gear pak. expensive!! a mate of mine just got back from japan and brought back with him that rev counter, paid $25, it's going into his KE70.

i'd check the exhaust just to make sure you haven't got a blocked muffler, i know adding electronic ignition helps, they start easier and are i little more fuel friendly. i had a camry at use to do 550km to a tank around twon and almost 650 on the hi way, trying to remenber why i sold it.

this was uploaded to K club 3 years ago and to a website in Finland, came from toyota nz as trd manula for k models.i was the one who photo copied it back in 1986, the cover was never copy because i considered it unimportant, wish i had it would have shown that it was in fact a TRD manual, not saying it's the only one made but this shows japanese translation and the rest i've seen is english only. the file size was over 50m but i reconverted it to be uploaded. i've had a look at his website and yes it looks like the same manual(bar the japanese translation) TRD was formally know as tosco. so it is a trd manual. i reckon you should have a closer look at both manuals there's alot missing from stewarts manual. hard to copy things off a website that's not there!!!! <removed not so nice stuff>

upgraded navi??? i think he's just added more wait to the car. we'll be there.

5k solid lifers aren't on the EPC, we had to go to the microfiche to find it, but it does exist. still have the toyota packet they came in, somewhere!!
-
next time there's a test day on at pat kennedy's come up and i'll make SURE you get the ride you'll never for get. see ya in the weekend.
-
it was owen by Tony who worked for robinson auto dismantlers. now lives in brisbane.
-
5k's did come out with SOLID lifters, but there really hard to find. the only reason i know, i brought a 5k in NZ for my starlet and it had solid lifers. we now run these in the rally car, they are genuine toyota not chev. the part number does cross referance to another toyota engine which Australia gets.
-
ever seen this car before? came from Timaru. about 1992. TRD KE70 and yes those are NZ personalised plates NOT COPYS
-
i know Tony brought the last one there was in NZ(we think it's a copy), we have 2 manifold sets but only the 1 base plate(sorry not for sale) there's about 20-30 hp just by standing the engine upright with that kit, could be more! about 10 years ago you could still buy the extractors for the upright from trd nz. according to my 2003 trd book you can still buy 6mm stem valves and guides and some other stuff for them. i have a photo copy of the base plate and most of the spec's to make another if needed. but finding someone to cast up the manifolds without destroying the old ones i reckon would be hard. if enough people wanted them i'd look at maybe trying to make some sets. big job though, not only do you have to change manifolds but extractors, sump, engine mounts, gearbox mount and some other stuff. don't have enough TIME!!!!

here's what i've seen with manuals and auto flywheel bolts, they can sheer off easierly, the standard bolt is pretty weak, we changed the bolts to 2tgte flywheel bolts and have never had that problem, now to find these bolts is bloody hard but if you spend sometime in a wrecking yard on a saturday armed with your standard bolt there's alot of flywheel bolts the same length and thread pitch. But what you're looking for is a bolt with a FLANGED head, they're the strong one. if you can't find any email me and i'll see what i can find. hope this helps.
